The Breeders’ Cup World Championships from Santa Anita in Southern California will be simulcast at Keeneland on Friday and Saturday.  General admission and parking are free.

Fourteen races – six on Friday and eight on Saturday – with purses totaling more the $25 million comprise the two days of championship racing.  Simulcasting begins Friday at 12:25 p.m. and Saturday at 12 noon.  Post time for the first race at Oak Tree at Santa Anita is 2:15 p.m. on Friday and 1:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Highlighting the two days of racing is Saturday’s $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic, which brings together undefeated Zenyatta, Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird, Belmont and Travers Stakes winner Summer Bird and several European standouts.

Advance wagering will be available Thursday for Friday’s full Breeders’ Cup card and on Friday for Saturday.  For the convenience of bettors, drive-thru betting windows will be open each day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Dining reservations are still available for Friday and Saturday in the Equestrian Room and for Saturday in the Keeneland clubhouse (Third Main and Third Paddock dining rooms).

Reservations are available by calling 288-4275 or 288-4213.
