Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Vince Gabbert joined Keeneland in October 2009 and serves as the company’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
A native of Northern Kentucky, Gabbert graduated from the University of Louisville and the Brandeis School of Law.
He was the state Senate Caucus Director for the Ken- tucky Democratic Party from 1999 to 2002, and directed state Treasurer Jonathan Miller’s successful re-election cam- paign in 2003. He served as the Local Government Division Director for Ross Sinclaire and Associates, a regional investment banking firm, from 2004 to 2007.
Gabbert served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear prior to joining Keeneland.
He currently serves on the boards of Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, the Governor’s Scholars, Commerce Lexington, the Thoroughbred Club of America, and the Rupp Arena Arts & Entertainment District Task Force. In 2010, he was selected as part of the inaugural 40 Under 40 class by Thoroughbred Times.
Vince and his wife, Tonya, have two daughters, Sophia and Ella.
