Multiple Grade 3 stakes winner Ioya Bigtime, who earned $540,149, will begin his stud career in Uruguay following his purchase at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Consigned by Scott Mallory, agent, the 6-year-old son of Dynaformer out of Ioya Two, by Lord At War (ARG), was listed as an RNA after he went through the sale ring as the last offering during the Saturday session. Breeder-owner Team Block then decided to sell the horse to Perhaps Bloodstock of Diego Mitagstein (pictured on the left) of Argentina and Stud y Haras Bloodstock of Pablo Nunez (right) of Uruguay.
Team Block, the stable name of David, Patricia, Ryan and Dina Block, raced Ioya Bigtime to six wins in 25 starts in four seasons. Trained by Chris Block, the horse in 2012 won the Kentucky Cup Turf (G3) at Kentucky Downs and the Stars and Stripes (G3) at Arlington Park.
