LEXINGTON, KY (August 10, 2012) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduates Shanghai Bobby, winner of the Track Barron Stakes at Belmont in late June, and Kauai Katie, who broke her maiden by 12 lengths on opening day at Saratoga, highlight the entries for Sunday’s Saratoga Special (G2) and Adirondack (G2) stakes, respectively.
Other prominent Keeneland sale alumni entered this weekend include graded stakes winners Nereid and City to City in the John C. Mabee Stakes (G2); high weight My Best Brother in the La Jolla Handicap (G2); and graded stakes winners Sassy Image and Joyful Victory in the Gardenia Stakes (G3). Five of the six fillies entered in the Monmouth Oaks (G3) are Keeneland sales grads, led by stakes winner Morrow Cove.
