The Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana, Inc., an independent affiliate of the national Epilepsy Foundation, is a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the over 153,000 children, adults, and veterans living with epilepsy and seizure disorders in Kentucky and southern Indiana.
The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana is to stop seizures and sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP), find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy through efforts including education, advocacy, and research to accelerate new ideas into therapies. Generous community support affords the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana to deliver vital programs and services to those in need and the communities in which they live.
The purpose of the Epilepsy Walk is to raise awareness and necessary funds to provide help, hope, and support to men, women, and children living with and affected by seizures throughout our service area. We invite you to join in this fun-filled and non-competitive fundraising event by creating your team in honor of yourself, or in celebration or in memory of a loved one or friend with epilepsy/seizures, recruit team members, set individual and team fundraising goals, register to participate, and begin your quest to successfully reach set goals!
