Since opening its doors in 1958, CDCB has met the needs of over 10,000 children in Central Kentucky. CDCB provides early intervention services (evaluation/assessment, developmental intervention, and speech/language, occupational, and physical therapies) to children with disabilities and full-day preschool services to children with and without disabilities from age six weeks until kindergarten eligible. When children with and without disabilities are together in a preschool environment, both groups benefit. CDCB provides services and care for these children – and their families – that help maximize the children’s skills before they enter a primary education program. The Center is a 501(c)(3) organization as well as a United Way partner Agency.
The funds raised with this event are critical to the continued success of one of the finest education and therapeutic programs available for young children anywhere in the country. The quality of our program is reflected in our receiving a 4-star rating from Kentucky’s STARS for KIDS NOW program (the highest and toughest ranking) and being accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Please contact CDCB at 859/218-2322 or visit our website at www.cdcbg.org for further information about the event or our services.
