Group Reservations Open Wednesday Online for Fall Meeting

Reservations are open for groups of 24 or more for Keeneland’s 2009 fall meeting on Wednesday.  Groups wanting to request reservations for the Lexington, Kentucky and Phoenix Rooms may do so online.

Champion Zenyatta, carrying top weight of 129 pounds, cruised to an easy 2 ½-length win in Saturday’s Vanity Handicap (G1) at Hollywood Park. The victory continued her unbeaten record of 11 wins in as many career starts, for earnings of more than $2.4 million.

Keeneland Hosting Handicapping Contest June 19

On Friday, June 19, Keeneland will host another of its popular simulcast handicapping contests. In the contest, players will make a mythical $2 win and $2 place wager on one horse on any seven of the first nine races carded that evening from Churchill Downs. Post time for the first race is 6 p.m.
