Dams of Grade 1 winner Mo Forza, Grade 2 Winner Thousand Words among Supplements to Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale

Keeneland has announced that the dams of two recent graded stakes winners – Inflamed, whose first foal, Mo Forza, won the Nov. 30 Hollywood Derby (G1) at Del Mar, and multiple graded stakes winner Pomeroys Pistol, dam of Dec. 7 Los Alamitos Futurity (G2) winner Thousand Words – have been supplemented to the 2020 January Horses of All Ages Sale, to be held Jan. 13-17. Glen Hill Farm has consigned Inflamed, a daughter of Unusual Heat in foal to Tapiture, while Brookdale Sales, agent for Hardacre Farm, has consigned Pomeroys Pistol, by Pomeroy. Both mares will be sold on the Jan. 14 second session of the five-day auction.

Keeneland will continue to accept approved supplements until the January Sale begins.

Inflamed (Hip 795E), who is out of the Afternoon Deelites mare Little Hottie, is a full sister to Grade 2 winner Burns.

Mo Forza, her colt by Uncle Mo, scored a three-quarter-length victory in the Hollywood Derby as the favorite for his third consecutive triumph. After his 2-length maiden win at Santa Anita on Sept. 29, Mo Forza took the Qatar Twilight Derby (G2) at Del Mar by 1¾ lengths.

Pomeroys Pistol (Hip 795K) won the Forward Gal (G2), Foxwoods Gallant Bloom (G2), Sugar Swirl (G3) and Just Smashing Stakes; was second in the Prioress (G1) and Test (G1) and earned $574,678. Thousand Words, who won the Los Alamitos Futurity to remain unbeaten in two starts, is her third foal.

Another notable supplement is Enaya Alrabb (Hip 795D), a Grade 1-placed filly by Uncle Mo and from the family of Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra and Grade 1 winner Rachel’s Valentina. Second in the 2018 Starlet (G1) and 2019 Las Virgenes (G2), Enaya Alrabb is consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, and cataloged as a broodmare prospect.

• The Magic Stone (Hip 398E), a daughter of Malibu Moon in foal to More Than Ready and consigned by Select Sales, agent. She is a half-sister to Irish highweight Spirit of Valor.
• Waltzing Amore (Hip 398F), a daughter of Petionville in foal to Empire Maker and consigned by Select Sales, agent. She is a full sister to group/graded stakes winner Two Step Salsa.

The January Sale catalog includes yearlings, broodmares and broodmare prospects, horses of racing age, stallions and stallion prospects and one lifetime breeding right to Court Vision. He is the sire of 2019 TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) winner Storm the Court.
