(4) Alpha Sonny was second two races back at this level. (3) Qorokwe had a variety of excuses in his last three starts after a show finish. (2) Stanley Rough will make his debut for Rick Dutrow as a NY-bred that sold for $50,000.

2nd race [Clm 14000 N3L, 6F] – (2) Morning Cup was last seen in October when he won at the N2L condition and got claimed for $16,000 by Linda Rice. (5) Bad Larry won his N2L race in January with a front-end effort, moved up to the next restricted level, and got claimed last time for $25,000 by Bruce Levine who has done well with recent new horses. (1) Mudville Nine won his N2L condition last month with a stalking trip. (4) Big Save got claimed last time for $14,000 after five top three finishes in a row.

6th race [Memories of Silver, 1 mi TURF] – (5) Living Magic won the Chelsey Flowers in October beating a horse that came back to win her third start. She was third in her 2014 debut and then ran into trouble twice in the Appalachian (G2) at Keeneland. (2) Sweet Rebecca broke her maiden in her first start at Tampa Bay Downs with a late rally at 7-2 and then moved to the barn of Chad Brown. (4) Miss Mottley was a debut winner in March at Tampa on the turf at 5-2 for Brown. (7) Youknownothing won her first career start for the Clement barn on the Tapeta at Gulfstream Park, was second on the turf in an allowance, and fourth in the Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park.

7th race [Alw 50000s, 7F] – (6) Clubhouse (B) was taken back when he had to steady off the heels of the leader as the favorite. He was second in his prior pair of races at this level. (2) Notah (B) broke through the gate, got to the lead and set the pace, and finished third. (1) Leonids changes to the barn of Linda Rice and returns from a nine-month layoff. Rice has excellent numbers with new horses and long layoffs. (7) Storming Chrome finished in the top three in 7 out of his last 9 starts in races ranging from maiden claiming to starter allowance.

Best bets: Mama’s Dream (1st): Morning Cup (2nd). Best value: Living Magic (6th); Clubhouse (7th).
