Cyber Secret Wins Wednesday Feature by a Nose

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 22, 2014) – Charles Cella’s Cyber Secret held off Paris Vegas by a nose to win the $64,000 Dell Ridge Purse for 3-year-olds and up before a Wednesday afternoon crowd of 8,754.      

Trained by Lynn Whiting and ridden by Miguel Mena, Cyber Secret covered the mile on a firm turf course in 1:36.20.

Honey Lake Romps to Victory in Featured Diamond A Purse

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 15, 2014) – G. Watts Humphrey Jr.’s Honey Lake took command entering the far turn and drew off to win the featured $60,000 Diamond A Purse for fillies and mares by 8 3/4 lengths before a Wednesday afternoon crowd of 7,901.

Trained by Vicki Oliver and ridden by Jon Court, Honey Lake covered the 1 3/16 miles in 1:57.79 over a fast track. The race was moved off the turf course.

Emotional Kitten Wins Sunday’s Featured Cherry Valley Purse

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 12, 2014) – Ken and Sarah Ramsey’s homebred Emotional Kitten surged to the lead at the eighth pole en route to a 1½-length victory over Northern Passion to win the $66,000 Cherry Valley Purse for fillies and mares before a Sunday afternoon crowd of 13,238.

Trained by Wesley Ward and ridden by Paco Lopez, Emotional Kitten covered the 1 1/16 miles on a turf course rated as “good” in 1:43.46.

Crown Queen Holds Off Ball Dancing to Win Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 11, 2014) – Besilu Stables’ Crown Queen stormed to the front inside the eighth pole and fought off a late bid from Ball Dancing to win the 31st running of the $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End (G1) by three-quarters of a length before a crowd of 21,295 on an overcast Saturday afternoon.
