Rosalind, Room Service Dead Heat in the Central Bank Ashland

LEXINGTON, KY (April 5, 2014) – Landaluce Educe Stables’ Rosalind and Gary and Mary West’s homebred Room Service could not be separated after a stretch duel to win in the 77th running of the $500,000 Central Bank Ashland (G1) for 3-year-old fillies before a sun-splashed crowd of 27,688 on Saturday afternoon at Keeneland.

COASTLINE WORKS FOR TOYOTA BLUE GRASS

John Oxley’s Coastline put in his final major work for next Saturday’s $750,000 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) by working five furlongs in company in 1:00.40.

With jockey Stewart Elliott aboard, the gray Speightstown colt posted fractions of :12.40, :23.80 and :35.20 while racing on even terms with Noble Bird, a 3-year-old maiden (pictured at left).
