Top 5 Moments in First Lady History

Tepin (2015)

Robert Masterson's Tepin crushed the field by seven lengths and came back four weeks later to defeat males in the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1). Now or Never (IRE) to Take on Tepin in First Lady

Qatar Racing’s Now Or Never (IRE) will chase a bit of history as well as champion Tepin in Saturday’s $400,000 First Lady (G1).

No 3-year-old filly has won the previous 18 runnings of the race. Few of those renewals have featured a runner of the stature of Tepin, who brings an eight-race win streak into the First Lady.

Breeders' Cup Winner Mongolian Saturday Returns to Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 6, 2016) – Mongolian Saturday’s victory in the 2015 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1) at Keeneland was memorable not only because the gelding at odds of 15-1 was the longest shot to win a race during the two-day Breeders’ Cup World Championships but because his connections, including owner Ganbaatar Dagvadorj and trainer Enebish Ganbat, wore their native Mongolian attire and enthusiastically posed for photos with fans.

Dixiana Bourbon Attracts Overflow Field

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 6, 2016) – Three of the top four finishers from the Sept. 3 Kentucky Downs Juvenile and the 2-3 finishers from the With Anticipation (G2) at Saratoga on Aug. 31 comprise part of a full field of 14 2-year-olds and two also-eligibles entered for Sunday’s 26th running of the $250,000 Dixiana Bourbon (G3).

Moccasin (1965)

Sarah Sis Closing in on Millionaire Status

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 4, 2016) – One constant the past two years during Keeneland’s Fall Meet has been a start and a win by Sarah Sis for trainer Ingrid Mason.

Mason hopes the pattern goes unchanged as Sarah Sis will go for a second Grade 2 victory here in Saturday’s 36th running of the $250,000 Thoroughbred Club of America (G2) with $150,000 going to the winner.
