Saratoga Special Winner Gunnevera Gets Feel for Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 4, 2016) – Peacock Racing Stables’ Gunnevera, winner of the Saratoga Special (G2) in his most recent start, got his initial feel of Keeneland’s main track with a 1½-mile gallop before the Tuesday morning renovation break.

This is not the first time Gunnevera has been at Keeneland, nor is it the first time for trainer Antonio Sano, who purchased Gunnevera for $16,000 at the 2015 September Yearling Sale.

I'm a Chatterbox Works in Advance of Juddmonte Spinster

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 4, 2016) – Scheduled to start in Sunday’s $500,000 Juddmonte Spinster (G1), Fletcher and Carolyn Gray’s homebred I’m a Chatterbox worked five furlongs in :59 over a fast track after the Tuesday morning renovation break.

Pocahontas Winner Daddys Lil Darling Tops Field of 14 for Keeneland’s Opening-Day Darley Alcibiades

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 4, 2016) – Normandy Farm’s Daddys Lil Darling, winner of the Pocahontas (G2) in her most recent start at Churchill Downs, headlines a field of 14 2-year-old fillies entered Tuesday for Friday’s 65th running of the $400,000 Darley Alcibiades (G1).

Europeans Arrive for Fall Stars Weekend

LEXINTON, KY (Oct. 1, 2016) – Geoff and Sandra Turnbull’s Mondialiste (IRE), runner-up to Tepin here last fall in the Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1), arrived at the Keeneland Quarantine Barn at 7 a.m. Sunday for an expected start in Saturday’s $1 million Shadwell Turf Mile (G1).

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 1, 2016) – Normandy Farm’s homebred Daddys Lil Darling, winner of the Pocahontas (G2) at Churchill Downs in her most recent start, tuned up for a likely start in Friday’s $400,000 Darley Alcibiades (G1) by working a half-mile in :49.40.

Danny Ramsey was aboard the daughter of Scat Daddy who worked after the Saturday morning renovation break over a fast track.

Track Record-Holder Limousine Liberal Works Toward Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix Start

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 30, 2016) – Katherine Ball’s Limousine Liberal tuned up for an expected start in next Friday’s $250,000 Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix (G2) by working a half-mile in company in :48.20 after today’s break.

Working in blinkers, Limousine Liberal started two lengths in back of his workmate and finished five lengths in front while producing fractions of :25, :48.20 and galloping out five furlongs in 1:00.40.

Undefeated Diadura Passes Dirt Test for Darley Alcibiades

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 30, 2016) – Empyrean Stables and Two Princesses’ Diadura, the 5½-length winner of the Arlington-Washington Lassie in her most recent start, on Friday worked five furlongs in company in 1:00.60 with jockey Carlos Marquez Jr. aboard for trainer Mike Stidham.
