LEXINGTON, KY (April 10, 2014) – Hill ‘N Dale Farm’s Sir Applesolutely surged past pace-setting Console inside the sixteenth pole to win the featured $64,000 Brookdale Purse for 4-year-olds and up by 1½ lengths before a crowd of 10,289 on a sunny Thursday afternoon at Keeneland. Ancil Scores Front-Running Victory in Featured Blandford Purse at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (April 17, 2013) – Scott Farmer and Kathy Thompson’s Ancil, coming off a 6½-month layoff, scored a front-running half-length victory in the $62,000 Blandford Purse for four-year-olds and up before a crowd of 9,141 on Wednesday afternoon.

Trained by Joan Scott and ridden by Julien Leparoux, Ancil covered the 5½ furlongs on a firm turf course in 1:03.50.

LEXINGTON, KY (April 13, 2013) – Charles Fipke’s homebred Java’s War overcame a slow start to catch Palace Malice in the final yards to win the 89th running of the $750,000 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) by a neck before a crowd of 37,161 on a bright Saturday afternoon at Keeneland.

Saturday’s attendance is the second largest in track history, surpassed only by the 40,617 on hand for last year’s Toyota Blue Grass Stakes.

War Dancer Overcomes Bad Start to Win Wednesday’s Featured Taylor Made Purse

LEXINGTON, KY (April 10, 2013) – Magdalena Racing’s War Dancer, who spotted the field nearly 10 lengths after being unprepared at the start, rallied from last in a field of 12 to win the featured $60,000 Taylor Made Purse for three-year-olds by a half-length over Positively before a crowd of 9,359 on a warm Wednesday afternoon at Keeneland.

Trained by Ken McPeek and ridden by Alan Garcia, War Dancer covered 1 1/16 miles on a firm turf course in 1:42.44.

2012 Horse of the Year Wise Dan, Defending Champ Data Link Top Friday’s Maker’s 46 Mile

LEXINGTON, KY (April 9, 2013) – Morton Fink’s Wise Dan, the reigning Horse of the Year in North America, and Stuart Janney III’s four-time graded stakes winner Data Link headline a field of five entered Tuesday for Friday’s 25th running of the $300,000 Maker’s 46 Mile (G1).

The Maker’s 46 Mile will go as the ninth race on Friday’s 10-race program with a 5:13 p.m. (ET) post time. First post time Friday is 1:05 p.m.
