LEXINGTON, KY (Jan. 10, 2013) – Mahkama, a four-year-old daughter of leading sire Bernardini, sold for $145,000 to Blandford Bloodstock to headline Thursday’s session of Keeneland’s January Horses of All Ages Sale.
A winner in England, Mahkama is out of the Rahy mare Rahy Rose. She is a half-sister to Tempted Stakes (G3) winner Summer Raven, dam of Holy Bull Stakes (G3) winner Winslow Homer. She was consigned as a broodmare prospect by Brookdale Sales, agent.
