Harmonize Earns Breeders’ Cup Berth with JPMorgan Chase Jessamine Victory

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 7, 2015) – Larkin Armstrong’s heavily favored Harmonize rallied from the back of the pack and outdueled Sapphire Kitten in the stretch by a neck to win the 25th running of the $150,000 JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (G3) for 2-year-old fillies before a Wednesday afternoon crowd of 9,685.

The victory secured Harmonize a spot in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) to be run at a mile here on Oct. 30.

Keeneland Sales Graduates Seek Breeders’ Cup Berth in JPMorgan Chase Jessamine

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 7, 2015) – Keeneland sales graduates compete in today’s JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (G3) for an automatic berth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1), to be held at Keeneland on Oct. 30. Twelve of the 16 juvenile fillies entered (including two also-eligibles) are graduates of Keeneland sales, led by high weight Harmonize, winner of the P.G. Johnson Stakes at Saratoga in August, and undefeated Theory of Change and Family Tree.  

 

Rainha Da Bateria Takes JPMorgan Chase Jessamine to Earn Breeders’ Cup Berth

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 8, 2014) – Three Chimneys Farm’s Rainha Da Bateria, last early in a field of eight, overtook Quality Rocks in deep stretch to win the 24th running of the $150,000 JPMorgan Jessamine Chase (G3) for 2-year-old fillies by 1½ lengths before a crowd of 9,851 on a sun-splashed Wednesday afternoon.

The victory earned Rainha Da Bateria a berth in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) to be run Oct. 31 at Santa Anita.
