Keeneland-Sold Oxbow Wins Preakness; Fiftyshadesofhay Captures Black-Eyed Susan

LEXINGTON, KY (May 20, 2013) – Keeneland sales graduates swept the two centerpiece stakes at Pimlico on Preakness weekend: Fiftyshadesofhay came from off the pace to win Friday’s Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (G2) by a neck, while Oxbow turned in a stunning gate-to-wire romp to take Saturday’s Preakness Stakes (G1).

Keeneland Sales Grad Daisy Devine Heads Cardinal (G3) Field

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 9, 2012) – Keeneland-sold Daisy Devine, winner of the 2012 Jenny Wiley Stakes (G1) at Keeneland, headlines the field for Saturday’s Cardinal Handicap (G3) at Churchill Downs. Other prominent Keeneland sales graduates competing in graded stakes on Saturday are 2012 New York Stakes (G2) winner Mystical Star, entered in Aqueduct’s Long Island Handicap (G3), and 2012 Toronto Cup winner Patrioticandproud, going postward in the Autumn Stakes (G2) at Woodbine.

 

Keeneland-Sold Gypsy Robin, Kindergarden Kid Earn Graded Stakes Wins

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 21, 2012) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Gypsy Robin became the first filly to win the Beaumont (G2) in the spring and Lexus Raven Run (G2) in the fall at Keeneland. Fellow September Sale alum Kindergarden Kid got up in deep stretch to win the Sycamore (G3) by a neck.
