Thirty Keeneland Sales Graduates Entered in Six Grade 1 Stakes at Saratoga on Saturday

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 28, 2015) – Keeneland sales graduates comprise 30 of the 55 horses entered in the six Grade 1 stakes to be held on a super Saturday of racing at Saratoga. Five of the 10 entries in the Travers (G1) are Keeneland sales graduates, led by Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) winner Texas Red.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Beholder Installed as Favorite for $1 Million TVG Pacific Classic

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Sharla Rae Captures Del Mar Oaks

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 17, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduates continue to accumulate graded stakes victories at Del Mar and Saratoga. At Del Mar, Sharla Rae was a game winner of Saturday’s Del Mar Oaks (G1) and Taris made a successful return in Sunday’s Rancho Bernardo (G3). Pretty N Cool and Exaggerator, both graduates of the 2014 September Sale, were impressive in their respective wins in the Sorrento (G2) at Del Mar and the Saratoga Special (G2).

Keeneland-Sold Slumber Seeks to Enhance Grade 1 Credentials in Arlington Million

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 14, 2015) – Keeneland sales are represented by 35 alumni entered in graded stakes across North America this weekend, led by Grade 1 winners Slumber (GB) in the Arlington Million (G1) and Stephanie’s Kitten in the Beverly D. (G1), both at Arlington, and Sunset Glow in the Del Mar Oaks (G1) at Del Mar.

Keeneland sales graduates Saratoga Mischief and Exaggerator, recent maiden winners at Saratoga and Del Mar, respectively, highlight entries for the Saratoga Special (G2) on Sunday.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Right There Heads Strong Sorrento Field

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 12, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Right There, an impressive winner of the Landaluce Stakes at Santa Anita in June, highlights a competitive field entered for the Sorrento (G2) at Del Mar on Wednesday. Seven of the eight juvenile fillies entered are graduates of Keeneland sales, including maiden winners Undisputed, One True Kiss, Uptown Twirl and Pretty N Cool.

Keeneland Sales Graduates Air Force Blue, Cavorting Shine at the Curragh, Saratoga

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 10, 2015) – Keeneland sales alumni Air Force Blue and Cavorting displayed their talents on two of racing’s biggest stages this weekend. Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith’s Air Force Blue, a graduate of the 2014 September Yearling Sale, easily won the Keeneland Phoenix (G1) at the Curragh on Sunday and captured Europe’s first Group 1 race of 2015 for juveniles.

Keeneland September Sale Grad and Champion Take Charge Brandi Returns in Saratoga’s Longines Test Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 7, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate and champion filly Take Charge Brandi returns to the races in Saturday’s Longines Test (G1) at Saratoga. On the same card, fellow September Sale alumni V. E. Day and stablemate Wicked Strong, the 1-2 finishers in last year’s Travers (G1), are part of a stellar field entered for the Whitney (G1).

Royal Ascot Stars and Horse of the Year Wise Dan Train at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 5, 2015) – While construction of temporary facilities for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Keeneland on Oct. 30-31 progresses and the main barn area is being prepared for the arrival of yearlings in the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, racehorses stabled in Keeneland’s barns on nearby Rice Road continue to train. Residents include several champions, Breeders’ Cup winners and graded/group stakes winners.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Beholder Romps to Seventh Grade 1 Win in Del Mar’s Clement L. Hirsch

Keeneland sales alumni have won 9 of 11 graded stakes run to date at Saratoga

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 3, 2015) – Keeneland sales graduates dominated the weekend’s graded stakes, led by Spendthrift Farm’s two-time Eclipse Award winner Beholder, who  displayed her class with an easy seven-length win in the Clement L. Hirsch (G1) at Del Mar on Saturday. The victory marked the seventh career Grade 1 win for Beholder and increased her lifetime earnings to more than $3.6 million.
