Keeneland September Sale Grad No Nay Never Wins Prix Morny

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 19, 2013)No Nay Never, a graduate of Keeneland’s September Yearling Sale, scored his second group win with a victory in this weekend’s Darley Prix Morny (G1) at Deauville.

Keeneland September Sale Grad Dice Flavor Rolls to Victory in La Jolla

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 12, 2013) – Keeneland-sold Dice Flavor made a stunning come-from-behind move to catch fellow sales alum Den’s Legacy and win the La Jolla Handicap (G2) on Saturday at Del Mar. September Sale graduates Concave and Devious Intent also swept graded stakes wins this weekend, taking the Sorrento Stakes (G2) and Gardenia Stakes (G3), respectively.

Grade/Group 1 Stakes-Winning Keeneland September Sale Grads Increase to 22 for 2013

LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 5, 2013) – The total number of Keeneland September Yearling Sale alumni to win Grade/Group 1 stakes in 2013 rose to 22 this weekend with the victories of Lady of Fifty (Clement L. Hirsch Stakes-G1), Justin Phillip (Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap-G1) and Estrela Monarchos (Grande Premio Roberto E Nelson Grimaldi Seabra-G1). September Sale graduates have competed in 45 of the 50 Grade 1 stakes held in North America to date this year.

Keeneland September Sale Graduates Win Haskell, Jim Dandy and Prix Rothschild

LEXINGTON, KY (July 30, 2013) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduates continue to dominate the racing scene, led by two of the nation’s top three-year-old colts – Verrazano and Palace Malice. Verrazano cruised to a record-setting 9¾-length win in Sunday’s $1 million William Hill Haskell Invitational (G1), with September Sale alumni Power Broker and Micromanage finishing second and third, respectively, to complete the sweep.

 Champion Royal Delta Exudes Class in Delaware Handicap Win

LEXINGTON, KY (July 22, 2013) – Juvenile fillies Brazen Persuasion and Bahnah – both graduates of Keeneland’s 2012 September Yearling Sale – turned in a thrilling stretch duel that resulted in a dead heat in Saratoga’s opening day Schuylerville Stakes (G3). At Delaware Park, multiple champion Royal Delta romped by 103Ž4 lengths – a stakes-record-setting margin – in the Delaware Handicap (G1).

LEXINGTON, KY (July 19, 2013) – Keeneland sales graduates compete at the highest levels across North America this weekend. Keeneland-sold multiple champion Royal Delta defends her title in Saturday’s Delaware Handicap (G1) at Delaware Park. Talented Keeneland sales alumni headline the juvenile stakes on opening weekend at Saratoga, featuring Bahnah and Brazen Persuasion in Friday’s Schuylerville Stakes (G3), and undefeated Bashford Manor Stakes (G3) winner Debt Ceiling in the Sanford Stakes (G2).

Keeneland Sales Graduates Elusive Kate, Marketing Mix Impressive in Graded Stakes Wins

LEXINGTON, KY (July 15, 2013) – Two of the weekend’s top performances were turned in by Keeneland-sold females – champion Elusive Kate won the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes (G1) at Newmarket, while the accomplished Marketing Mix defeated males to become only the third filly or mare to win the Sunset Handicap (G3) on closing day at Betfair Hollwood Park.

Keeneland Sales Graduates Dominate President’s Cup Day in Russia

LEXINGTON, KY (July 10, 2013) – Keeneland sales alumni were impressive in their performances on President’s Cup Day, held Monday, July 1, at Central Moscow Hippodrome, led by Baletmeister and Mori’s Arch, who finished 1-2 in Russia’s richest race, the President of the Russian Federation Stakes.

Known as the President’s Cup, the stakes is a Russian Group 1 event for older horses going 2400 meters. It carries a purse of 10 million (RUB), or $302,580.

Keeneland Sales Alumni Game On Dude, Starship Truffles Seize Grade 1 Stakes Spotlight

LEXINGTON, KY (July 8, 2013) – Keeneland sales alum Game On Dude successfully defended his title in Saturday’s Hollywood Gold Cup (G1), capturing his sixth Grade 1 win to push his career earnings to more than $5 million. Elsewhere, Keeneland sales grads Starship Truffles and Judy the Beauty finished 1-2 in the Princess Rooney Handicap (G1) at Calder, while Midnight Aria led at every call to pull an upset win in the $1 million Queen’s Plate at Woodbine.
