Keeneland September Sale Graduate Undrafted Wins Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot

LEXINGTON, KY (June 22, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale alum Undrafted was impressive in capturing the Diamond Jubilee (G1) on Saturday’s closing day of Royal Ascot. Owned by Wes Welker and Sol Kumin and trained by Wesley Ward, Undrafted was purchased for $50,000 at the 2011 September Sale by Gatewood Bell’s Hat Creek Racing from breeder Runnymede Farm.

Keeneland-Sold Grade 1 Winner Dame Dorothy Returns in Bed o’ Roses

LEXINGTON, KY (June 19, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Dame Dorothy, winner of the Humana Distaff (G1) in her last start, returns as the high weight in Saturday’s Bed o’ Roses (G3) at Belmont. At Santa Anita on Saturday, six of the ten fillies entered in the Summertime Oaks (G2) are Keeneland sales graduates, including recent Angels Flight Stakes winner Fantastic Style and the talented winners Roksana and Conquest Curlgirl.

LEXINGTON, KY (June 15, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate and two-time champion mare Beholder was a 1¼-length winner of the Adoration (G3) on Saturday at Santa Anita.



Keeneland-Sold Hoppertunity Named High Weight in Stephen Foster

LEXINGTON, KY (June 12, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate and Grade 1 stakes winner Hoppertunity will carry high weight of 121 pounds in Saturday’s Stephen Foster Handicap (G1) at Churchill Downs. Hoppertunity won the Clark Handicap (G1), contested at the same 1 1/8-mile distance as the Stephen Foster, at Churchill Downs last fall. Among the other Keeneland sales alumni competing Saturday are the talented Grade 2 winner Midnight Storm in the Shoemaker Mile (G1) and champion Beholder in the Adoration (G3), both at Santa Anita.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Curalina Wins Acorn in Stakes Debut

LEXINGTON, KY (June 9, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Curalina made her stakes debut a successful one, winning the Acorn (G1) at Belmont on Saturday. Keeneland sales alumni won three other stakes on the Belmont card: Slumber (GB) took the Knob Creek Manhattan (G1); March won the Woody Stephens (G2) and Channel Marker captured the Jaipur Invitational (G3).



More Than 50 Keeneland Sales Graduates Highlight Graded Stakes Entries on Belmont Weekend

Keeneland-Sold Divisidero Sets Course Record in Winning Pennine Ridge

LEXINGTON, KY (June 1, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Divisidero got up in the final strides to win Belmont’s Pennine Ridge Stakes by a neck in course record time on Saturday. On the same race card, Lady Eli established herself at the top of the sophomore filly turf division with a win in the Wonder Again Stakes.

Keeneland-Sold Stopchargingmaria Returns to Winning Form in Allaire duPont Distaff

LEXINGTON, KY (May 18, 2015) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Stopchargingmaria overcame a bad start to win Pimlico’s Allaire duPont Distaff (G3) by four lengths on Friday. On the same race card, Keeneland September Sale alum Keen Pauline was the upset winner of the Black-Eyed Susan (G2).
