LEXINGTON, KY (June 6, 2016) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Beholder won Saturday’s Vanity Mile (G1) at Santa Anita under a hand-ride from Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens, who called the champion mare the best horse he’s ever ridden. That same afternoon, 2015 Canadian Horse of the Year and Grade 1 winner Catch a Glimpse cruised to an easy 2¼-length win over males in the Penn Mile (G3) at Penn National.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate and Champion Beholder Headlines Vanity Mile

LEXINGTON, KY (June 3, 2016) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate and three-time Eclipse Award winner Beholder seeks her 10th Grade 1 win in Saturday’s Vanity Mile (G1) at Santa Anita. Keeneland sales alumni comprise four of the seven talented fillies and mares entered in the Vanity and include, in addition to Beholder, recent Humana Distaff (G1) winner Taris, Great Lady M (G2) winner Finest City and graded stakes placed All Star Bub.

Keeneland Sales Graduates Pack $1 Million Kentucky Oaks Field

LEXINGTON, KY (May 3, 2016) – Nine of the 15 fillies entered today in Friday’s 142nd running of the $1 million Kentucky Oaks (G1) at Churchill Downs are graduates of Keeneland sales. The Kentucky Oaks is a 1 1/8-mile race for 3-year-old fillies.

Since 1994, Keeneland sales have produced 10 Kentucky Oaks winners. They include Racing Hall of Famer Ashado and Belmont (G1) winner Rags to Riches.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Stanford Cruises to Charles Town Classic Win

LEXINGTON, KY (April 24, 2016) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Stanford won the $1.25 million Charles Town Classic (G2) in gate-to-wire fashion on Saturday. Finest City, also a September Sale alum, set a track record for 6½ furlongs in winning the Great Lady M. (G2) at Los Alamitos.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Creator Solidifies Derby Berth With Arkansas Derby Victory

LEXINGTON, KY (April 17, 2016) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduates captured this weekend’s final classic preps. On the Road to the Kentucky Derby (G1), Creator rallied from behind to take the Arkansas Derby (G1) at Oaklawn, while Collected unleashed a powerful run to win the Lexington (G3) at Keeneland by four lengths. Lightstream remained undefeated in winning the Adena Springs Beaumont (G3) on Sunday at Keeneland, the final prep on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks (G1).
