Keeneland Sale Graduates Showcased in Saturday Graded Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (April 12, 2014) – Forty-seven graduates of the Keeneland sales are entered in Saturday graded stakes, dominating the fields for the day’s two major Kentucky Derby (G1) preps – the Toyota Blue Grass (G1) and the Arkansas Derby (G1).

Keeneland Sales Grads We Miss Artie, Poker Player Highlight Turfway’s Spiral Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (March 21, 2014) – Keeneland sales graduates figure prominently in this weekend’s Kentucky Derby (G1) and Kentucky Oaks (G1) prep races. Sales alumni comprise six of the 12 sophomores entered in the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati Racing Spiral (G3), headlined by Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity (G1) winner We Miss Artie and Bourbon (G3) winner Poker Player, and seven of the 12 fillies going postward in the Pure Romance Bourbonette Oaks (G3), including the talented Aurelia’s Belle and Super Sky.

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Cairo Prince Excels in Holy Bull

LEXINGTON, KY (Jan. 27, 2014) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Cairo Prince stamped himself as a leading contender on the Road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) with his 5¾-length win in Saturday’s Holy Bull (G2) at Gulfstream. Keeneland September Sale alumni Conquest Titan and Intense Holiday finished second and third, respectively.

Keeneland September Sale Grad Will Take Charge Powers to Pennsylvania Derby Win

LEXINGTON, KY (SEPT. 23, 2013) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Will Take Charge, winner of the Travers Stakes (G1) in August at Saratoga, scored his second major win in less than a month on Saturday, capturing the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby (G2) at Parx Racing. The colt is being pointed toward the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) on Nov. 2 at Santa Anita.
