Dam of Australian Group 1 Winner Trust In A Gust Sold at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 29, 2014) – Australian-bred Trust In A Gust, winner of the Bendigo Bank East Malvern Sir Rupert Clarke Charity Cup (G1) at Caulfield on Sept. 28, is a 4-year-old son of the Storm Cat mare Subtle Breeze, who was sold at Keeneland.

Keeneland Sales Graduates Capture Grade 1 Wins at Belmont, Santa Anita

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 29, 2014) – Keeneland sales alumni excelled on the national stage this weekend, winning four Grade 1 stakes: Belle Gallantey was impressive in a gate-to-wire victory in the Beldame at Belmont; champion Beholder and Private Zone successfully defended their respective titles in the Zenyatta at Santa Anita and Vosburgh at Belmont; and Stephanie’s Kitten won the Flower Bowl at Belmont.

V. E. Day, Majestic Harbor Lead 68 Keeneland Sales Graduates Competing on Exciting Weekend of Racing

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 26, 2014) – Sixty-eight Keeneland sales graduates are among the graded stakes entries on an outstanding weekend of racing which features multiple Grade 1 stakes at Belmont and Santa Anita, including 11 Breeders’ Cup Challenge races. Belmont’s Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) and Santa Anita’s Awesome Again (G1) award the final two automatic bids for the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1). Keeneland sales alumni V. E.

Keeneland-Sold Sophomores Shine in Graded Stakes Wins

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 22, 2014) – Graduates of Keeneland sales accounted for three North American graded stakes this weekend: Florida Won rallied from last to upset a strong field in the Ontario Derby (G3) at Woodbine; Divine Oath took advantage in the stretch of an opening along the inside to capture the Kent (G3) at Delaware Park; and Thankyou Marylou romped to an easy 6½-length victory in the Dogwood (G3) at Churchill Downs.

Keeneland September Sale Graduates Sweet Reason, Stopchargingmaria Headline Cotillion

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 19, 2014) – Six of the nine fillies entered in Saturday’s Cotillion (G1) at Parx Racing are graduates of Keeneland’s 2012 September Yearling Sale, led by multiple Grade 1 winners Sweet Reason and Stopchargingmaria. Also at Parx on Saturday, fellow 2012 September Sale alum Noble Moon, recent winner of the Jerome (G2), goes postward in the Pennsylvania Derby (G2).

Keeneland Sales Alumni Earn Breeders’ Cup Berths with Juvenile Stakes Wins

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 15, 2014) – Keeneland sales alumni this weekend captured a trio of graded 2-year-old stakes that are Breeders’ Cup Win and You’re In races, and each received an automatic berth into the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita on Oct. 31-Nov. 1. An impressive performance in the Moyglare Stud (G1) at the Curragh in Ireland earned Cursory Glance a berth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1).

Keeneland September Sale Graduate Cristina’s Journey Earns Breeders’ Cup Berth with Pocahontas Win

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 8, 2014) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Cristina’s Journey won her stakes debut, taking the Pocahontas (G2) at Churchill Downs on Saturday. For her victory, Cristina’s Journey earned 10 points on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks (G1) and an automatic berth in the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) on Nov. 1.

Keeneland September Sale Juveniles Stand Out Among Weekend Graded Stakes Entries

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 5, 2014) – Graduates of Keeneland’s 2013 September Yearling Sale headline this weekend’s 2-year-old graded stakes. At Churchill Downs, graded stakes-placed Take Charge Brandi is one of five alumni going postward in the Pocahontas (G2), which also includes the talented Rachel’s Ready and Cristina’s Journey, while Mountaineer Juvenile Stakes winner Hashtag Bourbon and graded stakes-placed Mr. Z are entered in the Iroquois (G3).

Keeneland Sales Graduate Itsmyluckyday Impressive in Woodward Win

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 2, 2014) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Itsmyluckyday turned in a gritty performance to win Saturday’s Woodward (G1) at Saratoga, battling in a duel through the stretch to prevail by a half-length at the wire. Sunset Glow and Condo Commando, both graduates of the 2013 September Sale, dominated the juvenile filly ranks this weekend. Sunset Glow came from off the pace to score an authoritative win in the Del Mar Debutante (G1) and establish herself as the top 2-year-old filly on the West Coast.
