LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 26, 2012) – Keeneland sales alumni are showcased in the weekend’s graded stakes, highlighted by graded stakes winners Take Charge Indy, Newsdad, Guys Reward and Middie in the Fayette (G2); Arena Elvira in the Turnback the Alarm (G3); Overanalyze and Pataky Kid in the Iroquois (G3) and the impressive allowance winner Gal About Town in the Pocahontas (G2).

Keeneland-Sold Gypsy Robin, Kindergarden Kid Earn Graded Stakes Wins

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 21, 2012) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Gypsy Robin became the first filly to win the Beaumont (G2) in the spring and Lexus Raven Run (G2) in the fall at Keeneland. Fellow September Sale alum Kindergarden Kid got up in deep stretch to win the Sycamore (G3) by a neck.

Keeneland Sales Grads Compete in Top Turf Stakes This Weekend

LEXINGTON, KY (October 12, 2012) – Keeneland sales graduates abound in a graded stakes this weekend, many of which will be contested on the turf. Sunday’s card at Woodbine features four stakes including Al Khali in the Pattison Candadian International (G1) and Moment of Majesty and Stars to Shine in the E.P. Taylor (G1).

Bourbon Victory Earns Keeneland-Sold Balance the Books Spot in Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 8, 2012)Balance the Books, a graduate of Keeneland’s 2012 April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale, earned an automatic berth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) with his win in Sunday’s Bourbon Stakes (G3) at Keeneland. Entries for the 2013 April Sale close Thursday, November 1, 2012.

Keeneland Sales Grads Headline Weekend Juvenile Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 6, 2012) – Sixty-five Keeneland sales graduates are entered in weekend graded stakes across North America, highlighted by the talented 2-year-olds Pataky Kid (Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity-G1), Shanghai Bobby and Bern Identity (Foxwoods Champange-G1) and Balance the Books (Bourbon-G3).

September Sale Alum Certify Wins Doncaster’s May Hill Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 17, 2012) – Keeneland 2011 September Sale graduate Certify registered the second group win of her young career in the Barrett Steel May Hill Stakes (G2) on Friday at Doncaster to remain undefeated in three starts. The two-year-old Elusive Quality filly won the Sweet Solera Stakes (G3) on August 11.  

Also this weekend, Keeneland-sold Naples Bay, a half-sister to leading sire Medaglia d’Oro, took the Noble Damsel Stakes (G3), while Stealcase captured the Ontario Derby (G3), both at Woodbine.

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 14, 2012) – Twenty Keeneland sales graduates are entered in graded stakes this weekend, highlighted by graded stakes winners Al Khali (Northern Dancer Turf-G1) and Stars to Shine (Canadian S.-G2). Coconut Shrimp, an impressive maiden winner at Saratoga, stretches out in the Natalma (G2) at Woodbine.

Keeneland-Sold Pataky Kid Wins Arlington-Washington Futurity

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 10, 2012) – Keeneland September Yearling Sales graduate Pataky Kid romped to a three-length win in Saturday’s Arlington –Washington Futurity (G3).

Keeneland September Sale Grad Blueskiesnrainbows Favored in Super Derby

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 7, 2012)Blueskiesnrainbows, purchased by co-owner Whizway Farm at Keeneland’s 2010 September Yearling Sale and winner of the Swaps Stakes (G2) on July 4 at Hollywood Park, is the heavy favorite for Saturday’s Super Derby (G2) at Louisiana Downs.

Keeneland Sales Grads Continue Grade 1 Success

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 4, 2012) – Keeneland sales graduates, the winners of five Grade 1 stakes last weekend, continued to display their brilliance over the Labor Day holiday. To Honor and Serve established himself as a top handicap horse by winning the Woodward Stakes (G1) at Saratoga. Executiveprivilege proved why she is among the best in her division, winning the Del Mar Debutante (G1) to remain undefeated in four career starts.
