Bamboozle Sells for $140,000 to Lead Wednesday Session of Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 16, 2016) – Bamboozle, a 4-year-old daughter of Tapit in foal to Midshipman, sold for $140,000 to Big Kid to top Wednesday’s ninth session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

Cumulative results for the 13-day sale are nearly equal to figures from the same period in 2015. Keeneland has sold 1,924 horses for $208,371,300 compared to last year when 1,958 horses had sold for $212,021,900. The average of $108,301 is up slightly from last year’s $108,285, while the median remains unchanged at $45,000.

Moonlight Sky Brings $240,000 to Top Sunday at Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 13, 2016) – Moonlight Sky, sold as a racing or broodmare prospect, brought $240,000 to lead Sunday’s sixth session of Keeneland’s November Breeding Stock Sale.

Kern Lillingston Associates, agent for Triton Stables, purchased the 3-year-old daughter of Sky Mesa from the Denali Stud consignment. Moonlight Sky is a full sister to Dogwood (G3) winner Sky Girl and from the family of Grade 1 winner Bevo and Grade 2 winners Wilburn and Beethoven.

Moment of Majesty Mare Sells for $850,000 on Day 4 of Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 11, 2016) -- Moment of Majesty, a 9-year-old stakes-winning daughter of Saint Liam in foal to Curlin, sold for $850,000 to Star Guitar Inc. early during Friday's fourth session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent, consigned Moment of Majesty, out of the A.P. Indy mare Lady Indy. Her second dam is champion Fiji (GB). 

James B. Keogh said he bought the mare for Evelyn Benoit, owner of Louisiana-bred star racehorse Star Guitar. Star Guitar is at stud in Louisiana.

Easy Feeling Sells for $650,000 to Lead Solid Thursday Session of Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 10, 2016) – Easy Feeling, a 4-year-old winning daughter of Elusive Quality carrying her first foal by War Front, sold for $650,000 to Barronstown Stud to be the most expensive purchase during Thursday’s third session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, which recorded increases in gross sales and average and median prices.

Easy Feeling Brings $650,000 on Day 3 of Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 10, 2016) -- Easy Feeling, a 4-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality in foal to War Front, sold for $650,000 to become the highest-priced horse during Thursday's third session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. 

Claiborne Farm, agent, consigned Easy Feeling, out of the Storm Cat mare Wonder Woman. She is a half-sister to French stakes winners War Officer and Doo Lang from the family of Grade 2 winner Wandering Star, Group 2 winner War Command and Group 3 winner Naval Officer.

Unrivaled Belle Commands $3.8 Million on Day 2 of Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 9, 2016) – Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (G1) winner and millionaire Unrivaled Belle, in foal to Tapit, sold for $3.8 million to Mandy Pope's Whisper Hill Farm during Tuesday’s second session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. The amount is the most paid for a Thoroughbred sold at public auction in the world this year.

Unrivaled Belle was consigned by Eaton Sales, agent. The 10-year-old mare is out of Grade 2 winner Queenie Belle, by Bertrando.

Mare in Foal to War Front Brings $3.5 Million to Open Keeneland November Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 8, 2016) – Group 2 winner Secret Gesture (GB), in foal to War Front, brought $3.5 million an hour after the start of Tuesday’s opening session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. The 5-year-old daughter of Galileo (IRE) was consigned by Hunter Valley Farm, agent.
