Keeneland Sales Graduates Dominate Canadian Graded Stakes

LEXINGTON, KY (June 5, 2017) – Keeneland sales graduates Tower of Texas and Commute finished 1-2, separated by only a nose, in Saturday’s Connaught Cup (G2) at Woodbine. The following day at Woodbine, Keeneland sales graduates, led by Code Warrior, ran 1-2-3 in the Hendrie (G3).

Keeneland sales alumnus Frostmourne kicked to a 1¼-length victory over a solid field of sophomores in Saturday’s Penn Mile (G2) at Penn National.


Keeneland Sales Graduate and Champion Finest City Highlights Beholder Mile

LEXINGTON, KY (June 2, 2017) – Reigning champion female sprinter Finest City, sold as a weanling at Keeneland’s 2012 November Breeding Stock Sale and as a yearling at the 2013 September Sale, headlines entries for Saturday’s Beholder Mile (G1) at Santa Anita. Finest City kicked off the 2017 racing season with a victory in the Santa Monica (G2) at Santa Anita followed by second-place finishes in the Santa Margarita (G1), also at Santa Anita, and Humana Distaff (G1) at Churchill Downs on Derby Day.

Keeneland September Sale Graduates Finish 1-2-3 in Preakness

LEXINGTON, KY (May 22, 2017) – Graduates of Keeneland’s 2015 September Yearling Sale – Cloud Computing, Classic Empire and Senior Investment – swept the top three spots in Saturday’s $1.5 million Preakness (G1) at Pimlico.

At Santa Anita, American Anthem posted a solid win in the Lazaro Barrera to give sire Bodemeister yet another graded stakes winner from his first crop.

Each prep was worth 100 points to the winner to establish Girvin in first place on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with Always Dreaming in third.
