Sarah Sis Scores 17-1 Upset in Lexus Raven Run

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 17, 2015) – Joe Ragsdale’s Sarah Sis stalked the pace of favored Bar of Gold and then moved past that rival in midstretch to win the 17th running of the $250,000 Lexus Raven Run (G2) for 3-year-old fillies by a half-length before a Saturday afternoon crowd of 23,663.

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 21, 2014) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Taris demolished a field of 10 rivals in winning Saturday’s Lexus Raven Run (G2) at Keeneland by a widening nine lengths. On Sunday, Keeneland sales alum Native Bombshell returned from a year layoff to win the Ontario Fashion (G3) at Woodbine.




Taris Romps by Nine Lengths in the Lexus Raven Run

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 18, 2014) – Commonwealth New Era Racing’s Taris demolished a field of 10 rivals in winning the 16th running of the $250,000 Lexus Raven Run (G2) for 3-year-old fillies by nine widening lengths before a crowd of 24,257 on an overcast Saturday afternoon.

Trained by Todd Beattie and ridden by Clinton Potts, Taris covered the seven furlongs on a fast main track in 1:21.32. The time was the meet’s fastest for the distance.

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 19, 2013) – Mr. and Mrs. Marc Ferrell’s Madame Cactus, who drew into the race off the also-eligible list because of two scratches, collared Eden Prairie in the final strides to win the 15th running of the $250,000 Lexus Raven Run (G2) for 3-year-old fillies by a neck before a crowd of 19,196 on a brisk and overcast Saturday afternoon at Keeneland.
