Last Full Measure Holds Off Byrama to Win 12th Running of $300,000 Madison (G1)

LEXINGTON, KY (April 13, 2013) – St. George Farm Racing’s Last Full Measure survived a claim of foul from runner-up Byrama (GB) to win the 12th running of the $300,000 Madison Stakes (G1) for fillies and mares by a diminishing neck on Saturday afternoon at Keeneland.

A five-year-old Kentucky-bred daughter of Empire Maker out of the Slewvescent mare Lady Slusan, Last Full Measure is a Keeneland sales graduate.

Blue Grass Day now Features Three Grade 1 Stakes Races and $1.625 in Stakes Purses

LEXINGTON, KY (February 4, 2013) – Keeneland is moving the $300,000 Madison Stakes (G1) to Toyota Blue Grass Stakes Day, Saturday, April 13. With the addition of the Madison Stakes to the lineup, Blue Grass Stakes Day now features five stakes races—three of which are Grade 1—worth $1.625 million.
