Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale Begins Tuesday

LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 1, 2012) – Keeneland’s 2012 November Breeding Stock Sale – internationally renowned as the premier auction of its kind – will kick off Tuesday, November 6, at 10 a.m. ET.

The entire 11-day sale, which runs through November 16, will be streamed live on Keeneland’s website, Keeneland.com. 

Comprising the 3,958 lots cataloged are 1,890 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 1,691 weanlings, 363 horses of racing age, four yearlings, nine stallions and one share in Macho Uno. 

2011 Kentucky Oaks Winner Plum Pretty to be Paraded at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, KY (October 8, 2012) – Fans will have the opportunity to meet 2011 Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Plum Pretty on Sunday, October 14, when she will be paraded in the Paddock before Keeneland’s fifth race.

Keeneland Catalogs 3,958 Horses for 2012 November Breeding Stock Sale

LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 26, 2012) – Keeneland announced today that it has cataloged 3,958 horses for its 2012 November Breeding Stock Sale, scheduled for November 6-16.

Catalogs will be available electronically via Keeneland’s website, www.keeneland.com, beginning Tuesday, October 2. Print catalogs will be mailed the week of October 16.

The total cataloged includes 1,890 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 1,691weanlings, 363 horses of racing age, four yearlings, nine stallions and one share in Macho Uno. 

Kentucky Oaks Winner Plum Pretty to Sell at Keeneland November

Lexington, KY (Sept. 18, 2012)— John Fort’s Peachtree Stable’s Plum Pretty, winner of the 2011 Kentucky Oaks (G1), will be offered for sale at the upcoming Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale as a racing/broodmare prospect. She will be consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency as agent.
