Well-Matched Field of Nine Fillies Entered for Saturday’s Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End

LEXINGTON, KY (Oct. 8, 2014) – Grade 1 winners Minorette and Personal Diary top an evenly matched field of nine 3-year-old fillies entered Wednesday for Saturday’s 31st running of the $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End (G1).

The 1 1/8-mile grass test will go as the ninth race on Saturday’s 10-race program with a 5:13 p.m. ET post time.

Dayatthespa Holds Off All Challengers to Win Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup

LEXINGTON, KY (October 13, 2012) – Jerry Frankel, Ronald Frankel, Steve Laymon and Bradley Thoroughbreds’ Dayatthespa went to the lead at the break and fended off all challengers to win the 29th running of the $400,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) for 3-year-old fillies by two lengths over Centre Court before a crowd of 28,337 on Saturday afternoon at Keeneland.
