Facilitate The Keeneland Shop Online Gift Store, maximize sales and profits by developing and implementing an integrated marketing strategy for growing online sales that encompasses all aspects of marketing including social media, email marketing, web marketing and search engine optimization. Manage all aspects of the operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Familiarize and maintain updated knowledge of current and new products;
Oversees all fulfillments in a timely manner of daily website orders;
Maintains and updates website functions, including updating merchandise, loading new merchandise to the site, removing out of stock merchandise, updating store front appearance and landing page appearance and monitors inventory daily;
Proficient in POS and CounterPoint Software or ability to be trained in these systems;
Manage and implement the upload of new product to the store CounterPoint site, including photography and writing effective product descriptions in a timely manner;
Oversees all website photo shoots, quality of photographs and ensures product is properly accounted for and returned to stock after each photo shoot;
Assist in the oversight, development and promotion of company social media plan through various social media forums: Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, Instagram, and Tumblr, etc;
Stays current with online marketing trends by researching new techniques and software, monitors search engine optimization to ensure company is being properly ranked;
Coordinate all efforts between the retail and marketing teams;
Assist in the development of contests, events and promotions;
Coordinate customer services issues related to shipments, returns, order confirmations, invoices, customer registration, troubleshooting customer website issues and delivery dates through email, telephone or live chat;
Assist in the development and delivery of email blasts to our current customer base to include the design and content of the messages, segmentation of the audience, and maintaining the delivery schedule and selling results Build contact and customer lists;
Learn layout of warehouse and capable of locating product quickly;
Provide monthly sales forecast, monitor retail inventories and document daily sales;
Oversees website communications and maintenance
Maintains pricing and promotional consistency within channels.
Experience in retail and/or shipping preferred. Ability to use Adobe Photoshop preferred.

Computer experience necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and including all the required social media platforms. Possess the ability to learn computer program for CounterPoint site, including some experience with Magento, HTML, Java, XML, CSS and Photoshop.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to address and work effectively with all associates. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, management and technical associates.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, volume and margins
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in constantly changing environments. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to prioritize and adapt to unexpected changes in workflow and situations. Ability to creatively and effectively solve problems and issues.
