Keeneland officials today announced 18 stakes totaling $4.35 million – including ten stakes races during its opening FallStars Weekend – for its 2010 race meet, Oct. 8-30.

Keeneland hosted 13,002 race fans for its 16th annual Kentucky Derby Day celebration, including a sold-out crowd of 550 who enjoyed the new Derby Bash at Keeneland’s Entertainment Center.
A total of $1,620,604 was wagered on the Derby, the highlight of an afternoon which featured activities for the kids, live music and a Derby hat contest. |
