st Race: LILI'S IMAGE (#1) closed well to finish second last out at Churchill. A similar performance would make her tough to beat with B.J. Hernandez Jr. back aboard. CHARACTER WITNESS (#4) was heavily favored in her debut but faded to finish third in a six-horse field. She will probably be overbet again today. END OF THE SEARCH (#5) debuts for trainer Mike Maker hand has to be considered.
nd Race: PARTYINSLOWMOTION (#6) has been in the money in four of her five dirt races and posed a bullet work here last Wednesday. She appears to be in a good spot to get her maiden score for trainer Michael Stidham with James Graham aboard. THREE WAY TICKET (#4) has never run on the dirt but drops in for a tag for the first time and is the one to beat. FLASHY DIMONTINA (#2) is a contender.
rd Race: CIRCUS PERFORMER (#7) debuts for trainer Todd Pletcher, who had a big opening weekend when winning four of eight races. This one has been training steadily and figures to be ready with Joel Rosario picking up the mount. ERRANT (#6) was third behind Lawn Boy who came back Sunday to win the Dixiana Bourbon (G3). He will be tough to beat. GALLANT STEED (#8) is another first-timer. This one is trained by Wesley Ward and has to be respected.
th Race: MY BOY CHISM (#3) comes off a solid maiden score at Churchill and appears to be in a good spot to make it two in a row today. SOUTHERN BLESSING (#6) will be running at the end and can't be left out of the gimmicks. SCONNIE NATION (#5) rates a chance.
th Race: IS SILVER GOOD (#1) moves up in class after an extremely good performance at Churchill. This is a shorter race and a much tougher field but he could spring the upset with Calvin Borel back aboard for trainer Bernie Flint. SOLITARY RANGER (#6) has never run on the dirt but posted a near bullet over the Keeneland surface and drops in for a tag for the first time. BISQUE (#9) prefers an off track but is a contender under any conditions.
th Race: CZAR (#8) hooked tough fields in his first two races and ran third both times. He rates the slight edge in a very well-matched maiden test. REALITY (#12) finished a neck behind the top pick at Kentucky Downs and figures to be the main competition again today. COLD SPICE (#1) has only had one race and is eligible to improve.
th Race: VIVA MAJORCA (#2) is a 3-year-old who faces older runners for the first time after a sixth-place finish in the Travers (G1). He is a late runner who should get a fast pace in front of him and he looks like a solid bet to win for trainer Ian Wilkes with Julien Leparoux back aboard. DONOHARM (#10) is a veteran runner with career earnings of nearly $350,000. He should get a good trip from the outside post and has to be considered. MAGICAL MOMENT (#4) has been running against lesser company but could add value to the gimmicks.
th Race – JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (G3): RAINHA DE BATERIA (#9) comes off a solid performance in the P. G. Johnson Stakes at Saratoga. She is a late runner who should benefit from what figures to be an honest pace and rates a slight edge for trainer Graham Motion with Joel Rosario picking up the mount. COOL COMFORT (#6) will be on or near the lead throughout and looks like the one to catch. FILA PRIMERA (#3) and QUALITY ROCKS (#4) are both capable of winning a wide-open edition of the race.
th Race: LADY MARIAN (#1) moves up in class after a winning effort at Churchill. She is the only runner in here with two career wins and can take another one with Julian Leparoux back aboard for Rusty Arnold. UNE CHERISE (#4) looked good breaking her maiden against a five-horse field at Delaware and figures to be the main competition. PLAYFUL LOVE (#9) could run well at decent odds.
