st Race: ADUMATO (#8) ran poorly last out on the turf but moves back to the dirt today for trainer Graham Motion. He drops in for a tag for the first time and rates the slight edge. SAMBROOK EDGE (#3) has run well at this level and looks like the one to beat. DUNK A DIN (#2) fits in here.
nd Race: SEA LIGHT (#6) threw in a clunker last out but drops back in for a tag and gets blinkers today. She broke her maiden here in April and looks best with Robby Albarado back aboard. QUIET SCORE (#1) is a lightly raced 3-year-old who drops into a claiming race and is capable of improvement. KILLARNEY ROSE (#4) prefers the turf but is a contender.
rd Race: HEATH (#2) comes off a couple of even efforts and is a perfect 2 for 2 on the Keeneland turf. She has the tactical speed to be in good position throughout and gets the nod in a well-matched allowance test. KITTEN'S ROAR (#6) comes off a solid win at Kentucky Downs and trainer Mike Maker’s horses are running well right now. TELA (#5) is a contender at decent odds.
th Race: TIPTHETROLLEYGIRL (#1) ran poorly on a wet track at Churchill but posted a recent bullet work at Trackside and owns a win over the Keeneland strip. She could spring the mild upset in here. COLONY CROSSING (#4) will be running late in a race that figures to have a lively pace and has to be considered. ANGELIC SCORE (#5) drops back in for a tag and will be tough at this level.
th Race: VOUCH FOR KITTEN (#1) prefers the turf but so do most of the runners in here. She has trained well over the main track for trainer Wesley Ward and should get a good trip from the inside post. DIAMONDS FOR LEAH (#7) also tries the dirt for the first time but is the one to beat. SOUL STRATEGY (#6) ran a decent race on the Churchill dirt and has to be considered.
th Race: ENGLISH DANCER (#1) closed well to finish fourth in her debut at Kentucky Downs. She figures to improve off of that effort and should get a fast pace in front of her today. Give her the edge for trainer Bill Mott with Jose Ortiz picking up the mount. SUSIE'S DADDY (#3) also figures to be coming from off the pace and can't be left out of the exotics. MY SWEET STELLA (#6) ran well on the front end at Churchill Downs but will have company on the front end today.
th Race: TOTAL TAP (#8) was impressive breaking his maiden on the Churchill Downs lawn and the runner-up in that one came back to win here last week. If he handles the move to the dirt he is capable of the repeat score for trainer Steve Asmussen and jockey Ricardo Santana Jr. THIRSTFORLIFE (#2) may not have cared for the wet surface in the Iroquois and should be on or near the lead today. He is the one to catch. HOLIDAY BONUS (#6) ran poorly in the Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity (G1) but is capable of much better.
th Race – Sycamore (G3): STREET FASHION (#13) was a game winner over Ectot (GB) last out and that one came back to beat Flintshire (GB) in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic (G1) in his next start. He figures to get a good trip from just off the pace and rates a slight edge in a wide-open renewal of the Sycamore. GREENGRASSOFYOMING (#3) was fourth behind his talented stablemate at Kentucky Downs and will be running late for trainer Mike Maker with Florent Geroux aboard. UP WITH THE BIRDS (#5) is a career earner of more than $1.8 million and has to be respected.
th Race: FLIGHT CREW (#6) moves back to the dirt and cuts back to a sprint distance. Slight edge in a race that is extremely tough to make a definitive pick. SCARF IT DOWN (#5) is also back on the dirt and had a bullet work here last Thursday. SARATOGA SYNDICATE (#9) also posted a recent bullet work.
