st Race: COTTON CLUB CUTIE (#3) comes off back-to-back wins against bottom claimers and was claimed last out by Steve Asmussen. She moves up in class for this one but looks like a good bet to make it three in a row today. WAYTOGO TRISH (#4) was beaten as the favorite last out but didn't like the sloppy going and will run much better if the track is fast today. ROB AND JON’S GIRL (#5) is very good right now and a good trip makes her dangerous.
nd Race: READY BY YOU (#9) is in the capable hands of trainer John Hancock, who won the 2-year-old race here lasts Thursday with Cocked and Loaded. This colt outworked his stablemate on two different occasions at Riverside and rates the edge today. Trainer Wesley Ward has two runners in here: BANREE (#7), a filly taking on the boys, but he has been successful with that move in the past, and DEEP IN A DREAM (#4), who had a decent work on April 7.
rd Race: THIRTYSILVERPIECES (#2) and FRAT BOY (#2B) make up the Ramsey entry and both are capable of good efforts today. THIRTYSILVERPIECES looks best of the duo as he has won three races and drops in for the $25,000 tag. CIGARZIN (#4) may be the top threat moving up in class for trainer Tom Amoss after being claimed from back-to-back wins.
th Race: STRIKE TONE (#5) is a lightly raced colt from the hot barn of trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. He ran well in both of his races in Florida and has trained sharply for this third career start. Give him the edge in a tough allowance race. HEREDITARY (#6) was disqualified from a maiden win at Laurel and came back to break his maiden last out at Gulfstream. He posted a bullet work here Sunday and will be very tough to beat with Javier Castellano back aboard for trainer Shug McGaughey. MUTASAAWY (#3) has been a beaten favorite in his last three races but is a contender.
th Race: AVENTURE LOVE (#10) has been idle since winning back-to-back races last summer. Her works haven't been fast but she has been training steadily and trainer Wesley Ward figures to have her ready. SUGAR SWEET (#7) has shown huge improvement in her last two raced and could be tough to handle. ZAMQUICK (#11) is a definite threat.
th Race: SUPER STYLISH (#12) just missed last out at Fair Grounds and should like today's about seven-furlong distance. She posted a near bullet work at Churchill last week and figures to be ready for a top effort today. PORT CHARLOTTE (#10) is one of two first timers in here who has been training well for Graham Motion. MESHELL (#8) will be tough if she can handle the added distance.
th Race: I'M A LOOKER (#5) hooked much better last out on the grass and will definitely like the move back to the dirt this afternoon. She will be running late in a race that figures to have a lively pace and rates the slight edge for trainer Pat Dupuy with Robby Albarado picking up the mount. CAVAL (#2) has been off since August and moves to the barn of trainer Michael Matz. She posted a bullet work her on Sunday and will be tough to beat with Joel Rosario aboard. ROAMING (#1) shouldn't mind the move to the dirt and has the class to be dangerous.
th Race: CANNY NANNY (#8) has been idle since last April when she won over this turf course. She trained very well on the grass at Palm Meadows and posted a recent work at Churchill. She likes this turf course and trainer Mark Casse could have her ready to go today. MARKET MAGIC (#1) comes in off some sharp efforts at Gulfstream and looks like the one to beat. INDIAN RAINBOW (#7) had some trouble in her U.S. debut and can be expected to improve.
th Race: MR. WISEGEY (#4) drops in for a tag and has the speed to be on or near the lead throughout. He looks like a winner at this level. BREAKING DOORS (#8) has been off since November but figures to be the main competition. SIMON BAR SINISTER (#1) is a contender.
