Race 1: PABLO DEL MONTE (5) ran well in a tough spot last time and should move forward with a race over the track. The 4yo has two wins over the track and blinks back on. CANDIP (7) has early speed breaking from the outside to get in a favorable position early to try to make it four wins at the distance. BUMP START (3) exits the grade 3 Phoenix in the slop, which the winner was very impressive. The 4yo ridgling could get a nice set-up for a good trip from off the pace.
Race 2: TITANIUM (5) ran second with a wide trip over this track against similar company and should be tough stalking the pace. CHANTELINE (7) should be tough from the start for a hot barn on the grounds. MERCER MILL MAE (6) has been in some tough fields and should like the turn back in distance.
Race 3: COMMUTE (4) exits an improved effort second start off the break and should continue to move forward at a favorable distance. ALLIED AIR RAID (7) is a consistent runner that will be dangerous late off brief freshening. PRAETERO (3) has been a strong closer with plenty of experience, but will have to catch top choice.
Race 4: The Bryan Station Stakes - FUNDAMENTAL (3) has two wins at the distance and just missed by a length after a rough trip in the grade 2 Commonwealth stakes. CLOSING BELL (9) is the one to beat if he’s ready to fire off a brief break. TALE OF LIFE (2) should be a square price to bounce back after a poor effort over a soft turf course with a wide trip. Barn has been hot with routers on the grass.
Race 5: The Grade II Fayette Stakes – HOPPERTUNITY (5) has been facing grade I company inhis last two starts and should be tough in this spot late. PROTONICO (6) training sharply (WR) for a big comeback performance and looks like the strongest competitor of the Pletcher duo. EAGLE (11) moves up in class vastly, but exits an impressive performance over the local surface.
Race 6: BC Juvenile Turf - AIROFORCE (8) was a force to be reckoned with in his latest effort over a yielding turf course at KEE and should get a good trip from eight slot. CYMRIC (13) appears to be the toughest of the Euros and dangerous if he can get a good trip from the way outside. MANHATTAN DAN (3) may be the lone speed from an inside post. He ran an impressive third with early speed going a one-turn mile at Woodbine two starts back.
Race 7: BC Dirt Mile - LIAM’S MAP (3) has been solid runner in all seven career starts and undefeated at the distance (3/3) to be the awfully tough to beat, unfortunately, at even money. LEA (5) could get a nice stalking trip with the main speed drawn to the inside him. RED VINE (1) hopefully gets a solid trip from the rail, which he has one win from that spot. He’s at the top of his game running well against stakes company.
Race 8: BC Juvenile Fillies Turf – SAPPHIRE KITTEN (7) nearly caught the winner in her latest effort going two turns over the local sod and may get there this time with sharp turf rider Leparoux in the irons. HARMONIZE (8) has been very consistent on the grass and the one to beat. CATCH A GLIMPSE (4) pulled away from the field to win by five lengths down a long stretch at WO and may get away this time.
Race 9: BC Distaff – STOPCHARGINGMARIA (4) has seven graded stakes wins and could be ready for another since she’s training sharply and runs well fresh. WEDDING TOAST (7) could steal it on the frontend like she has done in the last two starts. GOT LUCKY (12) won the grade I Spinster earlier this month at KEE and should fire late for another impressive run.
Race 10: The Grade II Marathon – BAILOUTBOBBY (13) runs well fresh and he’s training well over the surface to be a contender at decent odds. NECK N’ NECK (4) is a grade 3 winner with a race over the track. LIDERIS (2) gets jockey Velazquez in the irons for a relaxed trip from off the pace and offer more at the longer distance for a capable barn.
