Race 1: PRINCESS DROSSIE (4) won the last two of four starts and should be tough just off the pace. KATY’S DUCHESS (1) has two sharp works to be dangerous early on the rail. COMICA (5) won her last at the distance and moves up in class in top form.
Race 2: THE GREAT WAR (4) hopes to move forward second start off the break and over the track this season. PULLING G’S (1) performs well fresh and consistent works to be extremely dangerous on the inside. BLACK BEAR (2) has run well against non-graded stakes level and leads into this race top form.
Race 3: TRUE VALOR (2) ran third against a slightly tougher group of maiden and the one to beat with a quick ½ mile drill. ANIMAL QUIET (7) has been knocking at the door for his first win. HUGH B. (9) showed early speed in his latest to improve today while competing first time gelding.
Race 4: FREEDOM (8) nearly won on debut when stalking the early pace and the one to beat with fast breezes to be improve today. PURELY A DREAM (4) exits a decent effort and gets a top rider in the irons. JOURNEY HOME (13) will be a major player if she draws into this race with a solid pedigree for a capable barn.
Race 5: GRACEE GOO (9) loves KEE to make a leap forward off her third place effort. Her consistency should take her a long way in this field. SQUATTY (8) should handle the cut back in distance off two solid route efforts on the turf and he has two wins at the distance. TATUM’SGOLD (6) runs for lesser tag than what she was claimed for last time out, but decent workout with some class makes her too dangerous to pick against today.
Race 6: SPELLKER (6) has steady breezes to be fit and ready at the slightly longer distance off the layoff. WHITE TIGHTS (7) has a few solid tries to consider with her dangerous early speed. DEWYALOVEMENOW (10) has a steady pattern of works to be a prime suspect on debut.
Race 7: PATRIOTIC AMERICAN (7) races second time at the distance and first time gelding with a slight drop in class to be a contender today. AURORA’S KID (2) should move forward second start off the break. AWESOME TYPE (10) has been training well for a big comeback performance after he won on debut last April.
Race 8: DUJAC (8) has been in some tough turf races elsewhere and already displayed good form on the grass to be a serious threat in today’s match up. WAYWARD KITTEN (1) is the one the beat for the Ramsey connections and looms a big threat from off the pace. NILEATOR (3) has powerful drills to be ready on or near the lead.
Race 9: OPEN ARMS (1) exits a couple of tough allowance races and hopefully tuck in behind the early pacesetters for her second win at the distance. CALLINGMISSBROWN (2) won first time out even without the jockey’s feet in the stirrups for the Motion stable. LADY CONSTANCE (5) gets a better draw for a stronger effort in her third start off the layoff.
Race 10: JUENESSE DOREE (11) just missed from off the pace with a wide trip to be the main threat in this bunch. PRINCESS LA QUINTA (8) ran well first start with new barn and hopes forward with a race over the track like top choice. JANCIKOVA (6) has intriguing works and barn goes for second win with a debut runner.
