Race 1: ON THE LAM (5) will be fit off the route races, but may prefer synthetic over dirt so watch the odds board. BAJAN CASH (1) ran third in a tougher maiden race at Saratoga two starts back. He has early speed and could be the best of them all early. SILVERDOLLARDREAMS (3) may benefit with a race full of early pacesetters to run them down late if dealt a fast track.
Race 2: TALE OF LIFE (6) is doing well as a 4yo and has been sharp at the distance on the dirt in hopes to be better back to the turf for top turf outfit. GO AROUND (2) has been training well for a better effort and extremely dangerous with his front running style, but may have company on the frontend. POWER PED (5) has two sharp drills over the turf course in the morning to be a serious threat tracking the early pace.
Race 3: BELLAMY TORCH (8) exits a rough trip over track and should be tough to beat at low odds with a clean trip. INDIAN OAKS (9) has shown some early gas then quits turning for home going long to like the shorter distance. LADY OF OPINION (4) tries dirt first time and speed figures on the turf are above the rest.
Race 4: REALITY IS GREAT (7) goes for a repeat wire to wire win at KEE with a bullet work since his last start. CAROLINA JASMINE (3) has been a major player in the money at this level. QUICK STUDY (8) leads into this race off a decent effort on the dirt at HAW.
Race 5: UNTAPPED (11) has the best speed figure on paper and likely to improve at second asking for high percentage connections with 2yos. TAP MY FREE (4) is another TAPIT filly that needs to break sharply with a not so wide trip for her first start two turns. LOVE ME IN MALIBU (1) has been training well to give a second glance at long odds with jockey Lanerie aboard.
Race 6: PRICE TOO HIGH (2) broke her maiden at the Spa over the summer and connections high on her last time in the G1 Alcibiades, which she has trouble early and no threat. Filly runs back quickly in a better spot to move forward today. CHASTISE (6) won impressively earlier this meet and appears well spotted for the high percentage (22%) Pletcher stable. SENORA ACERO (8) has run well in both races on the grass to throw into the mix.
Race 7: DYNAMIC IMPACT (1) ran second against similar and has some backclass to consider if the price is right. TOP GATO (5) nearly missed with a late rally in a key race over this surface to be serious threat down the stretch. MCQ (2) was the beaten favorite in the same race as second choice last time out and has some early speed.
Race 8: PRIVATE CLIENT (10) hopes to run well with a brief freshening and has already displayed plenty of talent over the soft footing plus gets jockey Leparoux aboard. MAJESTIC ISLAND (7) broke her maiden once she switched to the grass and could continue to move forward today on the grass. CAUSE IOYA (6) appears to be a strong closer on the turf with a good series of works since her last start to consider at 6-1 odds.
