Race 1: DONITA’S RULER (1) ran well in her latest on the grass as she moves back to the dirt, which she has good dirt form to be the main danger with early speed and second start off the layoff. LOTTA ATTITUDE (4) will be tough if she likes the track and improves off her last effort. RUSTICANA (2) may need a race, but training sharply in the morning.
Race 2: BRETT PARK (2) just missed last time out and make his third start off the break, but make sure the price is right on this longtime maiden. GALLANT STEED (4) tries a shorter distance on the dirt for top connections, which could be the right spot against this group. LEFLORE COUNTY (5) may prefer longer, but should be a square price to throw in the exotics.
Race 3: RASTANORA (1) ran third at the distance and filly makes her first start with a new trainer (20%) with a good work over the track (WR). URSULA ANDRESS (4) should like the longer distance with first time Lasix and nice drill (WR) for a high percentage barn. ULTIMATUM (7) ran decent going two turns at first asking to fit against this group as she makes her second career start.
Race 4: SEE THROUGH (2) leads into the race in top form and runs with blinkers off. HAPPY TO GO (6) should be a major player if she likes the dirt first time. TORCIDA (5) may have lost a step this year, but has early speed and top rider in the saddle.
Race 5: WHENCE (6) pressed the early pace and gained the lead midstretch only to get caught at the end. The $125k purchased colt is the one beat over a fast track. RAOFTHESUN (3) should be tough third time out especially with a change of tactics. PROUD ZIP (2) should improve with Lasix at second asking. He is bred for speed since his dam, ADORABLE JANE, was a stakeswinning sprinter.
Race 6: SHADOW ROCK (4) has good form in turf sprints that needed the race last time out and should be tough late. YODEL (7) won last time out and the one to beat sitting on or near the lead. GREAT MINDS (3) may need a race, but training consistently since his last start at Saratoga.
Race 7: RAFTING (2) is well bred at the distance with first time Lasix. The dam, PIAOTA FALLS, won a stakes at the distance. GUN RUNNER (1) won going a flat mile last time with a late rally and should be sharp at the distance. BANDWIDTH (4) won impressively first time out and should be tough if he likes the longer distance.
Race 8: OVERHEARD (2) has a tough draw on the inside, but classy mare runs well over this turf course and should be a stretch threat. I’M ALREADY SEXY (6) has been tough against graded stakes company and the main danger on or near the lead. EMOTIONAL KITTEN (1) also solid runner on the grass for top connections and should be tough late.
Race 9: The Grade II Lexus Raven Run Stakes-IRISH JASPER (3) has tactical speed that exits a tough field including graded stakeswinner, CAVORTING, who won back-to-back races. BAR OF GOLD (2) has been running well in the last two races against top choice and the one to beat. MISS ELLA (5) won a graded stakes at KEE as she leads into the race in top form.
Race 10: TANNER’S POPSICLE (5) exits a sharp effort for sharp barn and should be dangerous at this level with his early speed. ALMOST ENGLISH (8) ran a big effort last time out and hopefully runs just as well back-to-back races. CUSABO (7) moves up in class with two wins and two seconds in the last four starts and race should set-up for the late runner.
