    Friday, October 24th, 2014

Race 1:  GREEK BIRD (4) competes at the lowest level of his career to be a contender sitting a few lengths off the pace.  KATY LIED (2) is a sharp closer that needed her last race.  She gets some class relief, but lack of early pace may be a factor.   NOT A WALLFLOWER (1) has early speed from the rail to be a major player.

    Picks 4-2-1

Race 2:  MARIANO INTHENINTH (7) has early speed that raced evenly last time out to move forward second time over the track for a “hot” barn (50%).  BELLAMY’S VERDICT (4) should like the turn back in distance.  SHOE JO (5) gets an equipment change and drop in class with a new rider in the irons to help his chances today.

    Picks 7-4-5

Race 3:  CONGRATS TO KEN (10) has two solid efforts on the grass against tough maiden fields to be a big threat today.  ANOTHER LEMON DROP (9) ran decent at first asking and get first time Lasix.  FANTASIZE (12) is bred for stamina to be threat on debut.  Barn wins at 18% with first time starters and plenty of works to be ready.

    Picks 10-9-12

Race 4:  HIDDEN DANGER (5) should improve with a race under him for sharp connections.  BRIGAND MOON (1) has consistent to be fit, but will have to overcome the inside post.  SPRING QUALITY (4) has good works including a bullet over the Delaware dirt course and barn wins at 15% with firsters.

    Picks 5-1-4

Race 5:  DANCING HOUSE (5) exits a sharp effort on the grass in a competitive allowance race and she’s the one to beat.  PRETTY SYRIE (4) has the speed and stamina to handle the distance as she runs for a sharp turf outfit.  She exits a key race, which the winner, GIANT SHADOW, won three races in a row.  SERENE MELODY (7) ran well in her latest and sharp recent work.

    Picks 5-4-7

Race 6:  LORELEI TRUE (4) is better as a 4yo and has been training well on the dirt (clocker’s work) to be a threat at this lower level while changing surfaces.  REQUESTADA (7) should like the shorter distance.  VIOLET RED (8) should handle the distance, but may prefer longer.  Filly gets first time Lasix.

    Picks 4-7-8

Race 7:  COSTENIA (6) goes for three wins in a row.  She has tactical speed with stellar turf form.  INDIA’S SONG (3) was unchallenged on the frontend to break her maiden and nice works to be ready to face winners first time.  CIRCUS GIRL (8) has been competitive at the allowance level to be a threat back on the grass.

    Picks 6-3-8

Race 8: HENNY JENNEY (1) has tactical speed that should improve second start off a break.  Although she prefers softer footing, she takes on a soft field on the dirt for a good shot to complete the task.  SILVER UNION (5) has really good form on the dirt and has the best early speed.  AVICII (2) goes for two wins in a row over the local surface after she drew away from five others to victory.  She only has to beat four here.

    Picks 1-5-2

Race 9:  ARIPEKA (6) seems to be at the top of his game with two sharp efforts on the grass and should be the main threat today.  XAVERIAN (5) can move forward with a race under him since last July.  Barn dangerous with runners on the grass.  MR CHOW. (2) won his last two races and has a versatile running style to be a threat from start to finish.

    Picks 6-5-2

Race 10:  SHEEZFLIPPINSEXY (8) makes her first start for a new stable with consistent to offer more at 5-1 odds.  ANGEL LOVELY (1) has a good series of works and barn wins with first time starters at 29%.  WOV (5) flashed early speed in her latest performance and they will have to chase her down.

    Picks 8-1-5
