Race 1: A BETTER TOMORROW (1) has been running decent against much tougher competition to make him very dangerous at this low maiden claiming level for sharp connections. DILLO (10) is lightly raced and ran better going long as oppose to running short. He also will get some class relief. BAY HEAD (5) has two second place performances against similar, but both come over the dirt.
Race 2: HOKES HOPE (3) has dangerous early speed and multiple wins over synthetic footing. TAPROOT (1) should like the turn back in distance for his second start off the claim. CORONET OF A BARON (6) raced fourth with a late rally against a tougher field for his first start in three months. He should move forward today with a step down in class.
Rae 3: GREEN SECRET (1) has been running in excellent form going long on the grass, which hopefully transfers well to the poly. He has early speed for a sharp outfit. CROWN’S PATH (2) exits a win at the distance on the grass, but has decent poly form. He runs first off the claim for a high percentage stable (31%) and should be rolling late in the stretch. AMAZINF RESULTS (7) did not handle the longer distance last time, but may return to top form shortening up to a mile and a sixteenth.
Race 4: IN TALL COTTON (4) won by several lengths to break her maiden last time out. She takes on a soft field of claimers for her first time facing winners and runs her best races over the poly. RICHIES SWEETHEART (5) should be tough from the gate and takes on easier competing first time tag. TOMEI (10) returns fresh with consistent works. She should be stalking from the outside.
Race 5: COMMERCIAL FLIGHT (5) just missed going six and a half furlongs in her second career effort and should continue to move forward at the longer distance. DADDY’S MEMORY (9) made a late run in a fast paced debut race at CD. She has two moderate works and has a chance to move forward at second asking. CORONETTE (2) needs to do better this time after she was the beaten favorite with no excuse last time out.
Race 6: CONSPIRACY (2) has not won a lot in several races hence the NW2L, but this class drop should help the Catalano-trained colt move forward if he likes the distance. JUMP FOR KITTEN (9) ran decent going short in his most recent start for top connections. He could improve third start off the break stretching out to two turns. TAKEPOINTSANDRUN (3) ran like a longshot against a tough field of allowance foes and drops in class today.
Race 7: DYNAMICAL (4) won stalking here last spring in a first level allowance race. He has tactical speed and exits a solid performance from a hot barn. RAZZO SUCCO (9) has stupendous form over the poly and hasn’t been worse than third in his last twelve starts. He gets away from the rail to make him a solid threat from off the pace. CUMMINGS ROAD (6) broke his maiden at the distance and leads into the race in sharp form.
Race 8: SPUN SILKY (11) seems to run better for the current barn in hopes to show more over synthetic footing as she enters the race off a strong second place performance at the distance. MIFFED (7) had a consistent career before taking a summer break. She has been training well since her last start to be a contender. NOUN (9) gives it another try against allowance company second start in two months. She has good turf form for a top-notch barn.
Race 9: CANDY CRUSH (9) ran a good effort at the same distance as today’s to make her a big threat second time out. SMART ASHLEY (4) may like the two-turn distance to increase her chances to improve for a quiet barn with 2yos. CLEO’S KREWE (6) is always a bridesmaid going long on the grass and could win one of these times hopefully at decent odds.
