Race 1:  TOUGH BUSINESS (6) was under pressure early when she showed early speed and ran fifth behind ANNAFROMINDIANA, that came back to win a $30k starter allowance race at Keeneland.  Filly should be tough stalking from the outside second start in two months.  HARMONY PLACE (2) has been training well (clocker’s report) with assumed blinkers off and drops in class.  DELIVER (4) exits a career best performance and won the last two starts on the dirt.  Filly should be tough from the gate.

    Picks 6-2-4

Race 2:  RUSTICANA (4) has a good chance to snatch back-to-back wins over the local surface.  She won a competitive starter allowance race last outing at the distance.  JILLEAH (7) was caught in a speed duel in the same race as top choice, the winner.  She may be alone on the frontend this time around.  LUCKY BLACK (3) is a sharp closer that has been taking on easier company.

    Picks 4-7-3

Race 3: LOOKING COOL (4) runs first off the claim for tough connections.  Owner Ramseys' are the owners going into today.  HAZARDS OF LOVE (1) should be tough just off the pace with good record at the distance.  ONE KING'S MAN (6) gives another try at the same level as he switches hands and should be tough late.

    Picks 4-1-6

Race 4: GAP YEAR (3) ran a close third behind PAULAS SILVER LINING in a maiden race.  That filly came back and won the GII Matron Stakes.  Filly faced tougher last time and should advance second time going route.  ESKENFORMONEY (7) needs a sharp with a clean trip.  MARSHTINI (4) has two sharp drills since her last start  (clocker’s report) and moves to the dirt.

    Picks 3-7-4

Race 5:  MARCH TOO (6) returns to a shorter distance with two quick works for a high percentage trainer.   BIRD TAP (2) could improve with a “fast” track today.  He has been working nicely in the morning (clocker’s report).  ALSHUJAA (4) makes his first start as a 4yo and tries the dirt first time with fast breezes in the recent months.

    Picks 6-2-4

Race 6:  MAGIC OF REALITY (10) gets first time Lasix as she makes her first start in the U.S.   She has a good record at the distance on the grass and should be tough tracking the pace if ready off the layoff.   LET’S GO DONNA (6) has won thirteen races in her lifetime, but all of her success has been at shorter distances.  She looks tough while most of the favorites return off the bench and should be forwardly placed from the gate.  TERRIFIC (1) broke her maiden at a flat mile on the grass.  She has been training well to be ready off the layoff (clocker’s report).

    Picks 10-6-1

Race 7:  BISQUE (5) makes his second start over the track with a new rider in the saddle and runs with blinkers off for possibly a change of tactics.  SOUTHERN BLESSING (3) won easy in a short field last time out here as he leads into the race with confidence and the ability to close in a race full of early speed.  CANDIP (1) has early speed on the rail and he exits a key race (2/7).  He may have company on the frontend, but should like the return to the dirt.

    Picks 5-3-1

Race 8:  SEANCHAI (3) hopefully will benefit from the better post position today.  She exits a good effort for her first start in three months and could move forward.  SHARE THE SUGAR (12) exits the same race as top choice and may peak third start of the break, but rider Leparoux rides another in this spot.  LUNAR SURGE (5) has a nice draw for a good trip from off the pace, as long she likes the move to the grass.

    Picks 3-12-5

Race 9:  ROLL ON THE NAVAJO (8) has several powerful works in the morning to be a serious threat first time out.  STURDY ALLAN (11) made a belated run going the same distance and may perform better with a sharp break from the gate.  AMACE (3) ran second best in a brisk 5 furlong race on the grass.  He should improve second out, but moves to the dirt.

    Picks 8-11-3
