Race 1: EMMAJESTIC (7) makes her second start off the break with a good effort last time out. FREETHINKER (8) broke her maiden at the distance, however, on the grass. GAMBLERS ROSE (2) should like the return to the dirt and forwardly placed from the gate.
Race 2: ALL OUT OF ACES (6) is well bred with good works facing a soft field of maidens. WHENCE (3) should improve in his second lifetime start. DAN THE GO TO MAN (8) displayed talent first time out plus barn wins at 26% with second time starters.
Race 3: COASTLINE (8) turns back in distance for a better finish compared to last with good form over the dirt for top connections. BOTTLE ROCKET (7) can be a sharp sprinter from off the pace in a race full of early speed. EXODUS (4) has consistent works to be ready off the bench. He should be quick from the gate with early speed.
Race 4: SKY MY SKY (7) is bred for long and she ran well in her latest for sharp 2yo connections. WOLF GOURMET (4) made a late run going short and should like the stretch out to two turns. AMAZING CHARISMA (10) has been green in first two starts, but runs with the added hood and retains jockey Leparoux in the irons.
Race 5: The G3 Woodford Stakes – SHORE RUNNER (3) leads into the race at top of his game going for another big effort as he goes for five wins in a row, which hopefully he can handle any moisture in the grass. UNDRAFTED (5) has done well against graded stakes company, but may prefer a slightly longer distance. MONGOLIAN SATURDAY (2) won over a yielding turf course two starts back and just missed in a G3 event on grass.
Race 6: The G3 TCA - LEIGH COURT (5) is the defending champion in this race with two solid efforts and a bullet work with Triple Crown winning jockey, Victor Espinoza, aboard. JUDY THE BEAUTY (3) is undefeated at Keeneland with a good chance to win again stalking the pace with good works in preparation (WR). SWEET WHISKEY (4) steps back up in class after two sharp performances.
Race 7: The G1 First Lady Stakes – MY MISS SOPHIA (4) should be forwardly placed over a wet turf course with recent good efforts for a winning turf outfit. TEPIN (11) has beat top choice twice, but needs to overcome outside draw. Filly will be dangerous with her consistency today. CROWLEY’S LAW (1) ran very well for her first start in the U.S. and has a good record with wet turf courses across the pond.
Race 8: The G1 Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity – EXAGGERATOR (7) won a graded stakes race at Saratoga going short, but the son of CURLIN is well bred for longer and nice drills over the CD dirt. RATED R SUPERSTAR (1) ran well at the distance behind a solid winner, COCKED AND LOADED. SHEIKH OF SHEIKHS (8) won first time out for top 2yo connections and training well locally (WR).
Race 9: The G1 Shadwell Turf Mile – GRAND ARCH (4) loves the KEE turf course with a solid record at the distance. The veteran runner still appears to be one of the main contenders after a graded stakes victory at the Spa last time out. THE PIZZA MAN (10) has a perfect record at the distance with a nice score in the Arlington Million over a wet turf course last time out. DUTCH CONNECTION (5) has been a solid turf runner going a flat mile and should love the turf conditions Saturday.
Race 10: SECRET STASH (7) has several finishes on the board and looks to have best chance today to break her maiden. YUM YUM (5) runs for a 14% trainer with firsters in a soft maiden race to be a threat today. FORESTSTONE (9) should like the added distance with a good work since her last start.
