Race 1: FREE RELEASE (8) raced evenly on debut and was claimed. She returns fresh and tries two turns for the new barn. HOLY HARBOUR (5) stretches out to a route her second time out for a sharp barn with second time starters (28%). STICKTHELANDING (6) ran well in her latest when she made a late run to finish third at long odds. She should appreciate the longer distance.
Race 2: STRONG RESOLVE (6) leads into the race in sharp form off two solid performances at PID. He should be tough late. THAW (8) has done well at slightly longer distances and likely to move forward second start off the layoff. NEW BELIEVER (9) is a horse for the course that exits a decent effort over the local surface to improve today.
Race 3: RING WEEKEND (5) exits an improved effort at the distance and has a published workout over the poly to be ready to break his maiden. EIRIGH (2) was purchased for $100k at the KEE sales last year and has solid works to prove he’s worth a look at decent odds competing second time out for a consistent barn. THUNDER RUN (7) showed more speed with blinkers on last time out and gets a top rider in the saddle for his third career start.
Race 4: SUMMER FLIRT (4) just missed last year when she faced talented now stakes winner, IRISH MISSION that beat her to the wire. The BERNARDIDNI colt returns off the bench with a solid work schedule to be competitive for winning connections. CAT’S CLAW (6) bred well for the grass and can move forward at second asking. BRAMLEY (7) has the experience edge over the rest of the group, but needs to graduate.
Race 5: DIVINE ENERGY (1) is a sharp sprinter trying two turns for the first time for a high percentage barn and a sharp rider aboard. DYNAMIC IMPACT (7) could like the extra distance second time out for a sharp 2yo barn this meet. HARBOR BOUND (4) is likely to improve second time over the track with a better break from the gate.
Race 6: STRIKE THE NOTE (4) raced second against similar last time out and should like the shorter distance third start off the break. MAGICAL SEASON (7) was wide around the turn for his first start in several months. Dangerous with a rider switch and solid turf form. CHANNEL MARKER (1) returns fresh with tactical speed to be a player at the distance.
Race 7: MATUSZAK (2) broke his maiden on debut and may be talented enough to repeat that effort facing winners for the first time. KING CYRUS (4) was not a fan of the mud last time out and should return to his best form against allowance company over a fast polytrack. ROPE A DOPE (1) was an impressive first time out maiden winner that can be a threat from the rail going two turns.
Race 8: LEFT A MESSAGE (10) loves the long distances with a late running style and leads into the race in sharp form to make an impact late in the stretch. PREFERENTIAL (2) exits a sharp performance, which he beat a few fellow competitors and may like the turn back in distance. KISABLE (8) needs to improve off his latest effort in a grade 1 to be a contender here.
Race 9: TYLER T (2) gets plenty of pace to chase and could set-up well for the longtime maiden. CAPTAIN COOK (10) has several works leading up to this race and will drop in class. LAKE BRILLIANT (12) gets a positive rider switch to help his chances of seeing the winner’s circle.
