Race 1: GRACEE GOO (5) ran third against tougher horses to move forward in this field with a new rider in the irons and dangerous just off the pace. SO MANY DREAMS (1) hopes to never get caught on the inside second time over the track. TOTHYOWNSELF (3) could get a good trip from off the pace in her second start off the break.
Race 2: GUESSED RIGHT (6) has early speed that may be able to dictate the pace. LUCY’S REVENGE (4) is a deep closer that kept nicer company and has decent dirt form. ROB AND JON’S GIRL (5) loves to win to be dangerous just off the pace.
Race 3: GIMMEADRINK (2) has been a very consistent runner that runs well fresh to take on this group from off the pace. BAD STUDENT (8) leads into the race with a win at the meet and loves this track to give a closer look. SERDYNSKI (5) could bounce back after he was the beaten favorite last time out, but distance questionable.
Race 4: ZA APPROVAL (6) returns off a brief freshening with excellent turf form for a high percentage barn this meet and the one to beat at low odds. GRAND CONTENDER (7) has the best chance to beat top choice as he makes his second start off the layoff after a sharp effort on the grass. DECISIVE MOMENT (1) has early speed on the inside and could last for the piece of the pie.
Race 5: ROCK STAR STATUS (7) has been a sharp sprinter that tries two turns first time with good works for a high percentage barn this meet. COWBOY RHYTHM (3) exits a key race and also bred for this longer distance to wake up second time out. FIRST GROWTH (4) may like the two-turn distance first time. The dam, ALTESSE, won stakes at the distance.
Race 6: QUEEN PAULINE (3), a half million-dollar purchase, has fast works for Stonestreet Stables and trainer Steve Asmussen to be lightening fast at first asking. BEACH WALK (9) also bought for a high price of $435k at the KEE sales to be something special with a good series of works. TWIRL GIRL (1A) needs to break sharply for a better trip second time out.
Race 7: SPRING INCLUDED (7) returns to a dirt sprint with a race under her belt in the last 3 months. She should be able to get in a good position early from the outside in this short field. CASSETT (6) should be fit off the bench and she broke her maiden at the distance. YOU BOUGHT HER (3) exits a key race and race could set up well for her to get a good trip from off the pace.
Race 8: The Grade 3 Dowager Stakes – KITTEN’S POINT (1) with rider Edgar Prado in the irons to navigate a good trip from the inside. Mare won the G3 Bewitch stakes at KEE earlier this year and the one to beat from the winning Graham Motion stable. CEISTEACH (8) needed the race last time out and expect her to be sharper this time around. MISS CHATELAINE (9) has won three races on the grass in her lightly raced career to be considered at decent odds.
Race 9: MOONLIT METEOR (2) just missed last time out to be the main danger second time over the track for his second start off the break. WILD TARGET (7) claim the 6yo back in her barn and should be tough with some class relief and a sharp drill in the am. OLTRE’ ORO (10) won a claiming race at the Spa last time out and runs first off the claim for Joe Sharp stable who won 2 races on Friday and wins 27% off the claim.
