Race 1:  IN TALL COTTON (5) may improve off her last performance in a soft field.  CLEAR THE CLOVER (7) only had one start as a 5yo and now returns off fourteen month layoff, but should sharp off the pace for a hot barn.  SAVVY N SPEIGHTFUL (4) broke her at Keeneland.

    Picks 5-7-4

Race 2: VISIONARY RULER (6) was an impressive winner when he broke his maiden.  He makes his second start off the layoff and needs a sharp break with his early speed.  BILLY TWO HATS (2) has faced some fast turf sprinters and leads into the race in top form.  OFFICER GRIFFIN (7) returns fresh with sharp works.

    Picks 6-2-7

Race 3: RUMBLEFORTHEROSES (1A) won on the grass and bred for the synthetics.  MOON BACK MORE (8) should be off the pace at the distance.  He ran second in a maiden allowance over the local surface.  VICTORY COURTS (4) was only beaten a neck in his latest effort and should improve third off the layoff.

    Picks 1A-8-4

Race 4:  DEMANDER (4) ran well from off the pace to score his first career win at GP.  Talented colt will move up against allowance company in sharp form.  SIGNATURE SEVEN (5) goes for three consecutive wins, but changes surfaces to make sure the price is right.  NIIGON EXPRESS (1A) loves the Polytrack at Woodbine to be a contender if ready to fire.

    Picks 4-5-1A

Race 5:  JANNES PAUL (5) drops in class to graduate today.  SHY SOCIETY (3) has early speed and should improve today.  POPPY’S DREAM (4) hopes to run better as a 3yo in first time tag.

    Picks 5-3-4

Race 6:  FRIVOLOUS (6) just missed on the poly at the distance last summer.  She seems to be training well for a solid comeback.  ASSURED (5) returns off the shelf as a 4yo and makes her first start on the poly.  She ran fourth at the distance last year.  TWO TO TANGO (2) broke her maiden at the distance at Woodbine.  Barn can fire them off the bench.

    Picks 6-5-2

Race 7:  UTLEY (7) was third going a flat mile on the grass two starts back with an outside post.  Top connections on the grass and a strong workout on April 8th.  MISTER MARTI GRASS (8) has excellent turf form and two wins at the distance.  SERUNI (5) ran third behind HOY WISE DAN at the distance last June.  He should improve second time out this year.

    Picks 7-8-5

Race 8:  The G2 Beaumont Stakes – READY TO ACT (3) seems to have matured a lot in recent starts and has shown great stalking ability for a perfect trip behind the early pace.  SWEET WHISKEY (4) won a graded stakes winner as a 2yo in a dirt sprint.   She makes his second attempt at the distance after running third against slightly easier company last time out and should forwardly placed from the gate.  CO COLA (8) ran second in a graded stakes event and has never run worse than second in four starts.

    Picks 3-4-8

Race 9:  GATHERING (7) enjoys running on the grass and has won three times. The 5yo mare should be dangerous tracking the pace.  SOMALI LEMONADE (2) may prefer a longer distance, but he’s the class of the race.  FILIMBI (3) has never been off the board in seven starts and should be part of the early pace on the grass.

    Picks 7-2-3
