Race 1: THE RIGHT THING (2b) ran well in his latest against maiden allowance foes and gets slight drop in class to be a contender. MIDNIGHT LOVIN (4) may like the longer distance with a top rider aboard. ON ATTACK (3) has a good series of works to be tough first time out against this group.
Race 2: KARLYRAE’SWARRIOR (4) exits a competitive allowance race and should be dangerous stalking the pace. BORSEGGIATORE (3) has kept nice company at Belmont and Saratoga over the summer and hopes to run big against easier off the claim. DADTAUGHTMEWELL (5) should like the return to a dirt sprint.
Race 3: SCATERER GUN (5) won impressively from gate to wire at 6 1/2f last time out and training well (WR) for another sharp effort from the gate. TITANIUM (6) gets a brief freshening for a solid trip just off the pace from the outside. LITTLE ARIEL (3) tries hard every time she races to be the main danger in this spot.
Race 4: SHIMMY TINJO (8) runs well fresh and has three wins at the distance. GROUND FORCE (11) exits a wide trip at the same level and should be a contender, but has been the beaten favorite the last three starts at short odds. JERSEY BLUE GIANT (3) could win for fun, but only one published work for his first start in two months at this lower level.
Race 5: MODERN MEDICINE (7) broke his maiden on the dirt and hopes for a better effort going two turns off a two-month freshening. He has good works leading up to this race and exits a key race (3/7). JROCK (3) tackles two turns for the first time, but the sharp sprinter the one to beat forwardly placed from the gate. SCOUT LEADER (2) has been consistently finishing in the money going long, but 0/13 the last 2 years.
Race 6: CZAR (6) knocking at the door for his maiden victory and today could be the day at 3-1 odds with a sharp workout in the am (WR). CAVALLUCCI (4) woke up on the grass in a tough maiden allowance race at Saratoga. He returns fresh for a high percentage turf outfit. OLD SPORT (9) has kept nice company last spring including graded stakeswinner, WORLD APPROVAL. Barn can get them ready off the bench at 32%.
Race 7: MOONLIGHT SKY (6) just missed in her debut and should be tough with fast works over the dirt for a hot barn on the grounds. SUGAR CONE (9) exits a key race (3/5), which the winner, MORE THAN MOST, came back to win a stakes. He has a good work over the track (WR), but hopefully enough speed with the shorter distance. OLD SOUTH BELL (2) needs to show more, but improved position first time out in a key race (2/2) and nice drills the last 2 weeks,
Race 8: PRIVATE ESTATE (6) is a sharp sprinter with a good work over the track. ALL DAY ALICE (5) exits a tougher field of graded stakes company, but needs to show more at short odds. DELUSIONAL K K (1) moves up in class after a win at the distance. Filly has been consistent and dangerous just off the pace for a hot barn.
Race 9: KATIE O (4) leads into the race in top form off a win last time out and should be plenty of pace to run into down the stretch. TOUTSIE RULES (3) moves back to the grass after a solid effort with early speed on the inside. RAP (10) has been a strong runner at the distance.
Race 10: REEDER (5) returns to the dirt after a solid effort on the grass. The 4yo faces soft claiming company to advance today. K C CALL’S (7) exits a troubled trip and possesses some tactical speed to be a contender against this group. TSUMANI NIGHT (9) hopefully will move forward with a drop in class and blinkers off.
