Katie Mikolay Gensler's first exposure to racing came at a young age, attending Arlington Park with her family on weekends where she grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She has been a racing analyst for the last nine years and has worked at multiple racetracks across the country. She also has made special appearances on TVG Network, Fox Sports and NBC Sports. Katie has been a Paddock analyst for Keeneland since the 2013 Spring Meet. She’s also a weekly video blogger on KeenelandSelect.com. As an advocate for fan education, Katie has teamed up with Horse Player Now to teach Horse Racing 101 and wagering to increase horse racing awareness.

Race 1: SUNNY SKIES (8) has fast works to be consider a major player for a hot barn with firsters this meet. LULLINGSTONE (6) has a promising work from the gate on 4/19 and another barn having a good meeting. AMERICAN ALPHABET (7) is another Hancock trainee that could be ready on debut. PICKS 8-6-7
Race 2: WAYWARD KITTEN (7) loves this turf course and later runner may appreciate the added distance. HUNTER O´RILEY (1) has been some tough fields recently and proven marathon turf runner will be dangerous is ready off the long break. PATRICK¨S DAY (6) exits a decent performance on the grass. PICKS 7-1-6
Race 3: GINGERMORE (1) has run well against similar in the past and barn wins at 28% with sprint to route. BLUEGRASS SPECIAL (5) goes for back to back wins while returning to the dirt with solid dirt form. RITZY LASS (4) drops in class and should be forwardly placed from the gate. PICKS 1-5-4
Race 4: LA MANTA GRIS (2) teams up with a new rider that could him cross the finish line first with solid form on the grass. EGG ROLL (10) should improve at second asking. PLEIN AIR (8) gets jockey Rosario in the irons and first time Lasix for a barn overdue for a win. PICKS 2-10-8
Race 5: ORBOLUTION (9) is a KEE sales graduate for $370k that runs for another top notch stable with 2yos (19%). NOOTKA SOUND (7)has decent works for very sharp 2yo trainer at Keeneland. C J S SUZIE BYU (6) has plenty of work to be fit and ready for the Hancock stable. PICKS 9-7-6
Race 6: SIXTY FIVE (7) is a sharp closer on the grass as he makes his third start off the layoff. GALILEO´S SPEAR (1) has good works to be ready to fire in his first start in the US. HUMOR (6) gets back to his favorite footing and distance. PICKS 7-1-6
Race 7: RHYTHM PARK (6) loves to win to one to beat on or near the lead in a race full of early speed. MANHATTAN MISCHIEF (7) has been running for the new connections and he doesn´t need the lead. FAVORITE COACH (4) makes his second start over the track to improve at decent odds. PICKS 6-7-4
Race 8: MUCHO MACHO BETS (10) was ranked in his first start in a long time to improve second star off the long layoff. NESSY (5) is a consistent closer that should be coming late. MUTAZEN (1) could be the best of the rest in this spot. PICKS 10-5-1
Race 9: WISSAM (8) drops in class for a top trainer/jockey combination. RED LEOPARD (5) draws a better post for a better result compared to his first three outings at Oaklawn. LUTHER D (3) ran well at the same post last time and should improve. PICKS 8-5-3
