Race 4: TIGERBEACH (7) has back to back solid works from the gate to be a contender. SKY PROMISE (11) is a well bred colt also training sharply. KOWBOY POSSE (3) should improve second time over the track with blinkers on and a fast drill since lone start. PICKS 7-11-3
Race 5: MAKARIOS (4) ran third in the G3 Transylvania and should like the distance with a step down in class. CHANNEL MARKER (1) dealt with traffic on the inside last time and hopes to improve with a race over the turf, but once again has an inside post to make sure the price is right. HOLIDAY BONUS (8) needs a sharp break and needs to show more, but barn excels with turf runners. PICKS 4-1-8
Race 6: ORIENTAL CROWN (6) may change his tactics this time out after he flashed speed and gave way last time. DUNK A DIN (1) exits a sharp performance. HIGH MULTIPLE (10) faces winner first time, but has some early speed and gets in light with the bud rider for a repeat effort. PICKS 6-1-10
Race 7: SOGLIO (5) gets some class relief while he moves back to the grass for his second attempt at 9 furlongs and jockey Castellano aboard. GIANT PAYDAY (3) is another 3yo that exits the Spiral Stakes and back on his preferred footing. GORGEOUS KITTEN (2) is a well bred turf runner that also goes back to the turf and serious stretch threat. PICKS 5-3-2
Race 8: LYONS BAY VISTA (8) exits an improved effort and should continue to move forward for a hot barn. LOVE ME IN MALIBU (6) may prefer longer over the grass, but jockey Castellano in the irons and barn wins at a high percentage with sprinters. TRULY BRILLIANT (3) has a good series of works and competes with blinkers off for his first start of the year. PICKS 8-6-3
