    Thursday / October 26

    Race 1

Going with King of All Media (3) here, off a solid effort last time.  There's no speed in this race and I think he could be on the lead with a slow pace and hold off Pontastic, Opportunity Cost and Perro Rojo.  Exacta boxes 3-2, 3-6, 3-7

    Race 2

Brave John (3) cuts back from a longer distance and drops in class and that could be the ticket to get him to the winner's circle.  Put him in an exacta box with the entry of Flatter the Queen & Preemptive Strike plus Uncle Jerry.  Exacta box 3-1/1a-6

    Race 3

Enrage (2) moves down in class and has the speed to control the race from start to finish.  Key her in exactas with the ones dropping from straight maiden races like More Monique and Morning Belle Evenscore and first-timer Tiz Toffee.  Exacta boxes 2-7, 2-4, 2-5, 2-1

    Race 4

Many Waters (7) should be tough in here, as trainer Wesley Ward hits at a 30 percent clip with horses dropping from straight maiden races into maiden claimers and he uses one of his go-to jocks, too.  Key her with French Oak, Pampered Vow and Hidden Garden.  Exacta boxes 7-10, 7-4, 7-9

    Race 5

Our Girl Abby (7) posted a solid 68 Beyer figure in the maiden win here on opening weekend and I don't think spot represents much of a class jump.  Leparoux staying with the mount is a plus, too.  Key her with Regal Dame, D'Cat and Lunaris.  Exacta boxes 7-12, 7-11, 7-8

    Race 6

Enjoy the Journey (7) beat over half the field in his debut and he's bred to relish the extra distance he gets here--and he took some money in his debut.  Key him with Victory Lane, Ride a Comet, Cove Blue (and Paynter's Boy and Twist Off if your budget allows).   Exacta boxes 7-8, 7-9, 7-10 (+ 7-6, 7-3)

    Race 7

Kasaqui may have tailed off a bit so I'll go with Sir Dudley Digges (4) in this spot.  He has three wins this year and he's won here before, too.  One Go All Go, Thatcher Street and Dragon Bay are others to use.  Exacta boxes 4-5, 4-7, 4-8, 4-1

    Race 8

Caroline Test (3) makes the second start off a layoff and trainer Asmussen hits at 23 percent on the turf-to-dirt move, so that race at Kentucky Downs may have just been a prep for this spot.  Having run in a grade 1 here last year, her connections clearly thought she had some talent.  Key her with Miss Kentucky, Covenant, Verna Lea and Shar Ran.  Exacta boxes 3-9, 3-5, 3-8, 3-14

    Race 9

No strong leaning here so I'll wager that trainer Charlie Lopresti will win with one of his two--Gostisbehere or American Sea.  Play both in an exacta box that also includes Kalingrad, Drayke's Channel and Wazzup Chuck.  Exacta box 7-10-6-8-1a

    Late Pick 4 (starts in race 6):  7,8,9,10 with 4,5,7 with 3,9,5,8,14 with 7,10
