Race 1: MALIBUBU (1) gets some class relief to help her chances, but needs to show more so make sure the price is right. EURODEVILWOMAN (7) draws a better post to move forward second start off the break. INCLUDERE (4) won over the surface to break her maiden and has early speed for the top barn on the grounds.
Race 2: URBAN BOURBON (4) returns off a brief freshening and exits a tough field to turn things around at a lower level. COPPER HILL (5) won his latest and should be forwardly placed from the inside. UNCLE MUGGS (6) has been a consistent runner in several starts as he makes his third start off the long layoff.
Race 3: KISMET’S HEELS (7) was a near million dollar purchase at the sales last year and has run well at this level if you dismiss his poor efforts against graded stakes races. ALPHA TEAM (8) has a good series of drills to consider at first asking. COLLATERAL KITTEN (9) hoping to improve second time over the grass with a new rider in the irons.
Race 4: PINSON (7) likely to improve second start off the break and drops in first time tag. TIZ TOWN (5) runs well fresh with decent turf form. PENNINGTON BAYOU (8) needs a clean getaway for a stronger effort at this lower level.
Race 5: PERSUASION (6) gets another chance to shine this meet as he runs at the same level and needs a sharp break with the same rider aboard. SCATTERED CASH (10) flashed early speed in his latest and drops in class. MR. SENSIBILITY (5) has shown some ability on the turf and freshened while moving to a dirt sprint may help at long odds.
Race 6: J BOYS ECHO (4) rallied late for second on debut to be a serious threat with a sharp break. DADDY’S PLACER (11) exits a best performance over a wet track to consider especially if there’s rain in the forecast. INSURGENT (1) is a high purchased 2yo with an intriguing workout schedule to pay attention from a sharp 2yo first time starter barn.
Race 7: HOT DAD (5) has faced stakes company in the last two races to be the one beat at this allowance level. TELL THE TRUTH (6) should like the return to the grass for the Motion stable. SEA ROVER (2) really enjoyed this turf course when he broke his maiden and appears well spotted here.
Race 8: BIRD SONG (1) didn’t break well in the G1 Kings Bishop and won easy against first level allowance foes with some early speed going a flat mile. DAZZLING GEM (2) ran well against graded stakes company to be a serious if ready off the layoff. WHATEVERBODYWANTS (9) has been consistent going long on the dirt.
Race 9: IMPERIA (10) exits a troubled trip at KEE to give another chance at this level and should be a top candidate. BALLAGH ROCKS (11) loves to run long on the turf to be a top contender even against winners. PATTERSON CROSS (9) shortens up in distance with nice performances on the grass.
