    SUNDAY, October 23

Race 1:  (6) Maggie Sue has a win at Keeneland and is the best shot to try and beat the favorite here.  Exacta boxes 6-2, 6-3

Race 2:  (9) Albert Charles has a race over the track and the pedigree suggests he will like two turns.  Exacta box of 9-10-8-5-2

Race 3:  (5) WInkatdawat turns back from a longer distance and has a race over the track and I like both of those angles, plus this horse has 15 career wins.  Exacta boxes 5-4, 5-7, 5-6

Race 4:  (9) She's Actin Single is a first-time for a sharp trainer and Bravo takes the mount, which adds to the appeal.  Add in the good local works and there's a lot to like.  Exacta boxes 9-5, 9-3, 9-1

Race 5:  (7) Make Amends comes out of a key race in which the top three winners have come back to win already at this meet.  And she didn't have the best of trips in that start either, so improvement can be expected.  Exacta boxes 7-11, 7-8, 7-1, 7-3

Race 6:  (2) Timido had a wide trip last time but notched a solid Beyer figure and is bred to like nine furlongs.  Still, there's no standout here so use as many of these as you can afford in an exacta box and multi-race wagers (in this order)--(5) Lemon Squeeze, (6) Sistine Sista, (10 Burma Road, (11) Curlinup and (16) Brooks House.  Exacta box of 2-5-6-10-11-16

Race 7: (6) Scarly Charly got off to a bad start in that October 7 race here but the previous efforts were good enough to get the win here.  Exacta boxes 6-2, 6-1, 6-4

Race 8: in the grade 3 Rood & Riddle Dowager, (7) Daring Duchess could surprise this group with Geroux.  She's made significant improvement since coming into the Maker barn and that stable does well in these marathons.  (5) Apple Betty is a Euro invader that bears watching.  Use them in a 5-horse exacta box with (4) Page, (13) Oakley Girl and (12) Rachel Wall.  Exacta box 7-5-4-13-12

Race 9:  (11) Spanish Arch comes out of some races with good fields, drops Leparoux in the saddle and drops from the straight maiden ranks.  Exacta boxes 11-9, 11-12, 11-5

    Late Pick 4 (starts in race 6):  2,5,6,11,10,16 with 6,2,1 with 7,4,13,12,5 with 11
